2023 Fitness And Health Gift Guide

Share a holiday gift guide full of ideas for your health and fitness-loving friends… or yourself.

Hello friends! How are you; I hope you are having a great week so far! I taught at a fun event on campus yesterday and we had an amazing holiday dinner with friends.

For today’s post, I’m stopping by to share some holiday gift ideas that focus on health and wellness. I’m a big believer that all you need to improve your health is a safe place to walk, some sneakers that fit well, a good water bottle, a plan, and the commitment to keep the promises you make to yourself. All of these gadgets and add-ons are expenses and are definitely classified as a “nice to have” rather than a “necessity.” At the same time, they can be super fun, provide extra insight into what works in your routine, and are the PERFECT thing to gift someone you love (including yourself!!)

Here’s a roundup of some of my favorite health and wellness gift ideas at various price points:

2023 Fitness and Health Gift Guide

Cushion for walking. I use my pad every day and it’s a great way to get some extra movement and steps in, especially during long conference calls (when I don’t need to talk), emails, and follow-up sessions.

HigherDOSE sauna blanket the PEMF Go Mat. These are two of my favorite biohacking products of all time. (You can use code FITNESSISTA15 for 15% off)

Rebounder

An Aviron rower! This is definitely an investment in the home gym, but I love this thing. It’s so much fun to paddle and be able to stream shows from Netflix, Amazon, Hulu and Disney+. I can’t wait to see the new one Bridgerton sauna blanket and rowing season. My Aviron rowing machine review is here.

Water Purifier- We use Berkey and Clearly filtered. We are getting a Radiant Life whole house system this year!

Oura ring. The Oura ring provides excellent sleep and recovery data. You can see my full review here.

Air purifier! Clean air and clean water and some of the first initial steps for 1:1 clients.

WATER BOTTLE. My top ones right now are Stanley (of course) and Carafe. The girls have water bottles from lululemon and they love them.

Theragun. These are fantastic for sore muscles!

Neck stretcher. This is amazing on a tight neck, especially after a long day at the computer. I just lie on the stretcher and breathe for a few minutes.

Peloton bike or treadmill. See my full review of the Peloton bike here.

lululemon hoodie. You can’t go wrong with one scuba hoodie!

Vivobarefoot shoes. I just switched to barefoot shoes last year, all my *regular* shoes feel so restrictive. I have a pair of sneakers, hiking boots, and casual white low-cut t-shirts. P has jumped on the vivobarefoot train and they are her favorite sneakers. My referral link gives you a 15% discount.

ONE Shit or Daily Harvest Delivery. What a way to make healthy eating SO much easier. I love the Sakara meals – I have one coming up next week! – and you can use XOGINAH with a 20% discount.. You can use FITNESSISTA for up to $40 at Daily Harvest. I have their smoothies almost every day, and I also love their soups, bowls, flatbreads and new pastas!

Package of lessons in a fitness studio. Pick a favorite studio (or a new one that’s opening) and send some lessons their way.

Manduka mat the mat towel. This is perfect for the yogi who has been practicing on the same mat forever or needs a new towel to switch to spinning.

A Breville juicer. I always say I’m going to juice more often and then I keep buying them lol. It’s SO much cheaper to make juices at home and you can customize them to your liking.

Vuori everyday leggings and one half zip. Vuori is one of my favorite sports brands right now. the quality is incredible and i prefer the colors and styles to lululemon’s current selections.

A hatch light. This was one of my Christmas presents last year and I love it so much. I found it very annoying to wake up to my alarm every day, and since I’m mindful of my morning cortisol levels, this has helped tremendously. It’s more peaceful to wake up to soft light and chirping birds than a buzzing alarm.

A weighted blanket. I am the person who travels with my weighted blanket Hahaha. It makes a huge difference in the quality of my sleep.

Tell me, friends: what’s your favorite wellness tool, gadget or on your personal wish list this year?
