Hello friends! Good Friday! What are you doing this weekend?
Aloha from one of our favorite places! We are here for a few weeks to enjoy some beach time, shopping, luaus and all the poke bowls. 🙂
I’ll share all the details in an upcoming post, but here are some photos from the adventures.
(The recap of our last trip to Waikiki is here. If you have any rec, I’d love it! Especially if you know of a gluten-free malasada. Thank you, friends!)
It’s time for the weekly Friday Faves party! Here I share my favorite finds from the week and around the web. I always love to hear about your favorites too, so please shout out something you like in the comments section below.
Before we get started, congratulations to our giveaway winners!
Amy D. and Julia! (I’ll be reaching out to our winners to get their goodie packs on the road!)
Stay tuned for our August giveaway 🙂
7.26 Friday Faves
Fashion + Beauty + Random:
I got the kids their new lunch boxes. This is what I use for Liv and this is P. We have been fans of the Bentgo boxes for years and they last well and don’t leak.
This is so random, but an exciting purchase from the week: I got a recipe for a respirator mask on Amazon. I can actually see the fish when we snorkel! From my eye trip, I learned that I should never swim with contacts on, which is fine because I have Rx sunnies, but I can never dive down and see anything. This was a complete game changer!
(I’ll spare you the ridiculous photo the pilot took of me wearing the mask and going crazy with joy)
Olive peeling. I have used it as a gentle exfoliator. It is unscented and works well but is still gentle enough for sensitive skin.
Amazon Favorites. These are the best sellers from this year’s Prime Day!
This camera – makes a great gift for tweens.
These are Pilot’s everyday shoes. (They are SO light and I want some lol)
This Free People is fooling around. I get compliments every time I wear it.
Read, watch, listen:
I started it a few days ago and it is everything I love in a book. It is a historical novel inspired by a true story, with deep character development and beautiful writing. I feel like I can’t read it fast enough.
Don’t forget to check out this week’s podcast episode here.
Lots of summer book releases here.
What do you love about your childhood home?
Fitness, health, life and good nutrition:
Celebrating my Nana’s birthday last week! We had birthday lunch with her at Little Anthony’s and the next day, we had an amazing 85th birthday celebration at Tanque Verde Ranch. The food was even better than usual (which is saying a lot because we love their food!) and we loved celebrating the birthday girl.
HIIT workout without reps.
Maybe a short workout before bed isn’t such a bad idea?
Have a great weekend and see you soon. Have a great weekend, friends!
