8.9 Friday Faves

Hello friends! Happy Friday! What are you doing this weekend? I’m meeting a friend for brunch, Liv and I have a volunteer event, P is back in basketball, and we’re back to the school/home ratio. I hope I can go to a hot yoga class too.

I hope you have a fun and relaxing weekend ahead of you. It’s time for the weekly Friday Faves party! Here I share some of my favorite finds from the week and around the web. I always love to hear about your favorites too, so shout out something you love in the comments section below!

Fashion + Beauty + Random:

This nail polish. I’ve been giving my nails a break from the dip since my favorite nail girl has been away for a few months and decided to give it a try next Julie recommended it. It smoothes the surface of your nails (which is helpful if you’ve drilled them a bit for dips and gels) and gives a nice, neutral shade.

July Reader Faves! It’s always fun to go through the analytics and see which products you liked the most that I’ve shared here on the blog.

Here are the top picks from July:

Our bags! We have three because they are cheap, look good and are durable.

These three-piece travel pajamas.

Olive peeling. I have used it as a gentle exfoliator. It is unscented and works well but is still gentle enough for sensitive skin.

This camera – makes a great gift for tweens.

These are Pilot’s everyday shoes. (They are SO light and I want some lol)

This super cute vest.

This egg chair.

This Free People is fooling around. I get compliments every time I wear it.

This sun visor packed.

Frows!

The best Chelsea boots

The holy grail for shoes

These comfy joggers

These jeans. I got a pair during the Nordstrom Sale and I LOVE it. So soft and fits perfectly. I have to squeeze them in (such is life) but the fit is great.

Read, watch, listen:

my friend Giselle recommended this book. It’s definitely impressive and gives lots of useful tips on this tech-heavy world we live in and how to navigate it with kids.

This was EPIC.

Don’t forget to listen to this week’s podcast episode about maybe why dairy is not the enemy. 😉

Autoimmune diseases: the shocking factors you need to know.

Liv discovered the new Great Gatsby musical and we were listening to the soundtrack. This song is a banger (he hates when I say that lol).

Fitness, health, life and good nutrition:

It felt good to be back in training! I’ve taken a few Pilates classes and a barre class since we filmed.

Put a new one Nutrisense CGM this week and it was so helpful to get this data… especially since we were gone for several weeks each in Spain and Hawaii. I ate a lot more food at the restaurant, drank more alcohol, but my stress was much lower. I am interested in continuing to see the data. If you want to know more, you can check out my full Nutrisense review and use GINA50 here for $50 off.

Thick! I’m obsessed with these gluten free buns and they only have three ingredients. They’re perfect for sardine melts, PB&Js, and eggs with avocado and sriracha.

We made this tart again for last night’s family dinner!

Danielle and Trevor’s baby shower! I can’t believe our little niece will be here in a few months! She had a beautiful shower at the Carriage House with the best food from El Charro, a full bar, fun games, and we all hung out and hung out. adorable baby gifts. So excited for them.

Have a great weekend and see you soon. Have a great weekend, friends!

xoxo

Gina
