Cozy put chic pairs to feel ready for the day…

It’s been over 10 years now since I’ve worked in an office, so if there’s one thing I know in this world – it’s the dos and don’ts of working from home. Daytime TV?! Major no no, been there, done that (the job was not done!!). But getting ready for the day in an outfit you feel great in?! 10/10 would recommend. So today I’m trawling through the new section of it Cézanne* to bring you four outfit ideas to try if you’re staying at home this week. from the set that looks like it’s basically pajamas, to some baggy jeans that I would, Really recommend…
OUTFIT ONE: The knitted vest
This is one I’ve been really into recently, essentially using a knit vest – like this one Samuel Jumper* – as a layering piece (instead of wearing it alone during the warmer months). If you have activated the heating, then the Conrad T-shirt* will work underneath or simply wear your favorite jumper as a base. The Baggy pants* area Really great piece of denim – not skinny enough to be suitable for WFH, but an item you’ll wear all week (like the sizing advice online, I’d go up your normal size for an oversized fit, or a size down if you prefer it tighter in the waist – I wear 12). Throw in some ballerinas* in case you need to go out, and a bold earring* and you are ready.

UNIFORM TWO: The Comfies
There’s no better feeling than working from home in what are essentially pajamas. Now I’m not talking about the guy you’re sleeping with. I’m talking about the guy who is too imagination for sleep – these are your daytime pajamas. The ones you walk into when you’re fresh out of the shower in the morning. My advice would be to try to find a set that matches your everyday wardrobe so you can break them up and wear them separately and look for natural fibers for ultimate comfort and convenience. The Maxence Jumper* and Lazare pants* both are 100% merino wool and tick all the boxes. Wear them with a clogging like this* and you’re well on your way to a productive laptop day.

OUTFIT THREE: The Classics
If you still want that ‘office wear’ feel, but with just a few tweaks to make it more WFH practical, then here’s a formula to give it a shot. An oversized shirt is comfortable, whether you’re in a boardroom or sitting at your kitchen table – and the Boy’s shirt* it’s classic for a reason (I like to adjust the size for a more glamorous look). Try it with it Ciara pants*, which is almost a leggings/trousers hybrid – it has the shape of a flare, but the feel of leggings. Throw a cardi* over the top if you feel a bit cold, a idle* and a nice one earring* and you will feel blameless.

OUTFIT FOUR: The Essentials
When I saw this Andy Zacketta* I thought “I HAVE to include this!”. How great is that?! Heavy and just one of those pieces you just want to lie on. Grab your laptop – let’s go to the couch! Why not pair it with essentials you already have in your wardrobe? Pop a undershirt* underneath and wear it with your favorite baggy pants*, add as simple link* and fun level* for some pattern – all those things in your wardrobe that you just LOVE to wear.
