I Keep Reaching For This Celebrity Approved Skincare Brand For Extra
Alix Earle is known for her get ready with me makeup tutorials (and more recently for her favorite selfie light) so her influence is unparalleled (with literally everyone buying her products). And on January 10, the 75th hard day in the life of the social media personality TikTok videos introduced Cosmedix. As the camera caught her recording her podcast, Cosmedix’s Purity Solution Cleanser she was seen sitting on her vanity for the shoot. Honestly, if you blink, you might miss it, but we spotted the influencer’s Cosmedix cleanser and had to give it a try.

This cleaning oil does double duty, doubles as a makeup remover and cleanser (That’s double cleansing without two steps!) Contains popular skin-conditioning Argan and Olive oils for a dewy texture, as well as lesser-known Moringa oil and Melia Azadirachta extract, which they claim that they enhance radiance and cleanse the skin. Overall, it aims to remove impurities and create a smoother, brighter complexion.

I’ve been wanting to try this, especially since I was recently told by a facialist that my skin is extremely dehydrated (even though I drink an insane amount of water and keep up with a solid skin care regimen). I’ve also recently become a fan of oil cleansers (I even prefer gel and cream cleansers) after realizing that oil wouldn’t actually make my combination skin even oilier. And so I tried the cleanser for a week, applying it in the mornings and evenings when I showered.

Purity solution it has a pleasant, citrusy scent that matches its yellow color and wakes me up immediately — always a welcome benefit. To use it, I follow the brand’s recommendation to apply it to dry skin and then add water to emulsify it before washing it off. I honestly loved how supple, plump and hydrated it made my cheeks feel instantly. And the slight glow it gives me really makes it feel like it’s working. And while I wouldn’t call it the best makeup remover I’ve ever used, it does a pretty good job of removing my makeup at the end of the day. Thanks to this combination of benefits, I will undoubtedly continue to use it until the last drop (or pump).
