Dior Beauty has added three new color themes Rosy Glow Blush, Lip Maximizer, Lip Glow Oil and Lip Glow composition in Pink Lilac, Poppy Coral and Bronzed Glow. I love these matching makeup sets and picked up two of the colors. Today I’m taking a look at Pink Lilac which I think is so beautiful.
They have Pink Lilac in:
Also, while it wasn’t part of the set, they added a new one Addict Lipstick in Dior Lilac 391 ($46). It’s a limited edition shade that you can still find it in Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom, Macy’s, Bloomingdale’s. I added a swatch of this to the review as it is a similar color theme.
Rosy Glow Blush
The Rosy Glow Blush in Pink Lila it is a pure soft lilac color with a subtle hint of pink. It’s a sheer color but I love the subtle tint it adds to the skin. On me I have to pack it to show up. It brightens my skin slightly within a minute or so. It has a similar vibe to the pink in the swatches, but Pink Lilac is noticeably cooler.
Addict Lip Maximizer + Lip Glow
I really like both news Pink Lilac Addict Lip Maximizer + Lip Glow Balm. I actually like them more than I expected. With the milky finish of the gloss I thought there was a chance it would look streaky or too pale, but it has just the right amount of pastel. The Lip Glow Balm it’s another surprise. The color revitalizing quality is there, so it brightens my lips but doesn’t turn fuchsia. Both have a minty scent.
Below wearing it Lip Maximizer. I didn’t get a swatch photo of the Balm but you can see it in action on my lips here.
Addict Lip Glow Oil
It’s been a while since I tried it Addict Lip Glow Oil because I found it too thick for my taste and all the colors look almost the same. This one has quite a pink shimmer, although if you have any of the others I don’t think this is necessary. For an oil I still find the formula to be a bit too thick for me and prefer Guerlain Lip Oils but Dior is still very good.
Addict Lipstick in Dior Lilac + New Cases
The Dior Addict Lipstick in Dior Lilac it is a pure lilac pink. There is some shimmer to it, but it’s not frosty. I think the color is pretty but it’s very pale on my lips so it’s borderline too pale, it works right now but if I tan I suspect it will be too light. There is almost no lasting power, so you have to reapply often. I’m happy to own it as I think it’s a fun fresh color for spring. I wish the lasting power was a bit longer and the pigment wasn’t so sheer. Still, I think it’s beautiful.
Dior also added news Addict lipstick cases which are the best ones released to date. I farted on the Rosmania and Pink slant.
Le Baume
One last thing I wanted is the new launch on Dior Le Baume. They added two new ones since the original release. One is packed in a Houndstooth pink pattern, this is the same formula as the original, just in pink packaging. Another is Flavored at J’Adore perfume which is a beautiful fresh, bright floral (just like the perfume, but soft).
I still haven’t tried the unscented version on the lips, but I really like both for the hands. It’s a very light, non-sticky formula that lightly moisturizes and smoothes hands.
I think the J’adore fragrance is so beautiful.
