My Sisley Phyto-Noir Mascara Review
I really like this mascara, mainly because I find it so easy to apply. I often struggle not to mess with mascaras and end up with product where I don’t want it. But I didn’t have any problems with it and I think that’s partly due to the shape of the brush.
The formula glides onto the lashes very precisely and the hourglass brush somehow just deposits the product exactly where it needs to go without me having to try it.
One coat gives lashes a really beautiful, shimmery look with lots of lift and two coats intensifies the volume and depth of color. It’s lovely and black and has a great eye-opening effect.
What I really like about this Sisley Phyto-Noir mascara is how flexible the lashes remain even after the product has dried. I hate crunchy lashes and this formula leaves my lashes soft and comfortable. It’s also really nice and long lasting, and doesn’t flake or smudge at all throughout the day. It has great staying power.
As for the eyelash growth benefits, it’s not only too early to tell, but somewhat impossible to judge at this time, as I’ve been using the Sweed Beauty eyelash growth serum with great results ( review here ).
I have to say, I think the Sisley Phyto-Noir Mascara and this lash serum make a serious power couple. THE Sugar cane serum* Can condition lashes at night, and Phyto-Noir can condition them during the day!!
