Healthy Holiday Potluck Ideas
It’s the season:
to deck the halls,
spend time with the ones you love,
wear your ugliest Christmas sweater,
(my Dick Van Dyke!)
shop it
and enjoy festive feasts 🙂
I’m not sure about you, but our schedule is full until after the New Year with holiday events! Lots of them: bring a side or dessert.
Anyone else experiencing pot-lucking overload?
What to bring?!
I’m always debating what to bring to a holiday party. I would like to make something semi-healthy since I know I will enjoy the treats and libations at the party, something festive/seasonal and something the guests will enjoy and remember.
So, as I pick my brain, I thought I’d share a list of my favorite healthy food recipes and ones I haven’t tried yet but have found the range.
Most of these healthy holiday recipes tend to be on the savory side, as parties this time of year are heavy on the sweets.
Healthy Vegan Artichoke Dip
I often think of this dip during discussions about the best comfort foods. It’s gluten-free and dairy-free and one of our favorite vegan party recipes.
Put it in the slow cooker with tortilla chips or a plate of croutons.
My favorite fall salad
My favorite fall salad comes together in minutes and is packed with flavor and nutrients.
Greens, goat cheese, dried cranberries, candied pecans, and balsamic dressing are all you can make this crowd pleaser. If you really need to feed a crowd, make a bunch because it always disappears fast!
