Fenty launched a glittering version of my favorite lipstick formula called The The Gloss Bomb Stix High-Shimmer Gloss Sticks ($ 25 each). As a huge fan of normal Stix Bomb Bomb (non-shimmer version), I have ordered them immediately. It’s amazing for sure, but it’s just outside my comfort zone.
The formula is thick and creamy with complete opaque coverage. They have a glossy finish and the shine is intense. They perform exactly the same as the non-shimmer version, but the shimmers have a slightly transparent quality so that your natural lip (or lip liner) shows.
The glow is indeed “high” and is more like a glow on the lips. I saw some reviews describe it as a shine explosion and I think it’s a perfect description. The formula is still amazingly smooth without any texture, although the shine is very intense. It has been a moment since I had tried a lipstick with this very shine and as much as I like a good shine, my first impression was that the glow is too much, but I put all the shades in the test and some are wearable than others for my lip.
I think they really photograph better than they see in real life and I think they would be super cute for specials or come out of cases where you want a fun look.
I really love Fu $$ y and Flame the best. I love the CU case at Maui, but this is a shine burst on my lips. ICY AMETHY $ T is fun for a more modern shade, I think it’s really fun.

Overall fun, I’m not sure I can get them away, but I still think they are really beautiful. Personally I prefer the original Fenty Gloss bomb Stix (Review here) But the new high -phase colors in Fu $$ y and Flame They are beautiful.
