Today is the last day of Sephora’s sale with the Savemore code and I have the complete shift to share with some first impressions. There was enough I had on my list to try and the sale came in the perfect time!
Frame
My skin has gone through some changes in the last month, so I have to search for new moisturizers and impulses to try. Here’s what I got:
Dr. Dennis Gross Vitamin Cerum Lactic Acid – I didn’t have the opportunity to try it yet but I have heard so many good things, I could pick up the edition of moisturizing cream Also, if you have a favorite vitamin C serum, let me know!
Alpyn Super Peptide and Ghostberry Moisturizer – This was the most recommended moisturizing cream by all of you! I asked for recommendations for my Instagram stories and these hands down were the favorite of all, I have tried it and I really like it. Once my skin balances or returns to normal I think this will be one that I get for many. At the moment my skin is extremely dehydrated, so I need something heavier.
Innbeauty Project Extreme Cream and Firm eye cream – I was so curious about this brand. I have seen to appear everywhere in my feed! After some discussion and comments from you I decided to try it and I am 100% in love with both. 100% is worth a try, even though they are richer types. Many of you who mentioned you to live in warm climates and still love that. I will buy the full size of moisturizing cream before the sale is over.
Industrial biography of collagen – Another viral skin care product I have strange. I haven’t tried this yet, since they recommend applying for several hours. I can’t wait to try it.
I repeated the Kiehl’s extremely (my favorite) and Andrew took another Drunk Elephant Protini Polypeptide Cream Although I have my own stock of stock in the house I share with him, he really likes that.
Sunscreen
Andrew and I are on a mission to try as many sunscreen as possible. Now that we are in Miami where it is hot and very sunny, we are more diligent to apply sunscreen every day and re -apply. Also, as it is warmer here we try to find the best sweat that has not slipped immediately with sweat, but this will not clog our pores or feel fat. This has been a challenge since Andrew does not like mineral formulas and does not want to wear anything that feels oily.
Shiseido Ultimate Sun Protector Lotion Mineral SPF60 – This is a new formula and I tried this for the body. Although it is mineral, it combines nicely. It still has a little white cast, but I like it’s not thick. I have to try it in the pool or the beach to give my full thoughts, but so far I give it a thumbs up. I don’t know I will be able to persuade Andrew to try it.
Ultra Violette is a brand I was so curious. I bought the Live screen SPF 50 (for the body) and like this, but it is quite emollient and not really dry. This said it is not very heavy.
I also got the Ultra Violette Mini SPF Mates to try the face together with the Sheen Screen SPF 50 Moisturized Balm for Lips. I didn’t have the opportunity to try, but many of you like you!
Isdin is another line I had on my radar, but I have hesitated because the two most popular are minerals. I tried it Fusion Water Magic SPF 40 And I’m not really a fan of texture. I will try a few times. The two mineral formulas are incredible and I think these are the first mineral sunscreen I really liked.
ERYFOTONA ACTINICA Ultralipt Mineral ongricen SPF 50 has a small piece of white cast but also have a colored choice called The ERYFOTONA Agelping Tinted Mineral Onscrein SPF 50 that I really like. Both are very fluid and light. They have been well over my moisturizing cream so far and I had no irritation.
Dr. Jart every day faces sunscreen SPF 50 – This is a formula that Andrew took to try. He says he likes it and is not too oily.
Hair Care + Perfume Options
I bought some new things to try the hair. I had great hopes for the Gisou Mini Wildflower Honey Infuse. It’s so cute and perfect for the wallet, but I’m undecided in the fragrance.
The Ouai team sent on them Leave the conditioner In the scent of St Barts and is ideal for summer. I designed to choose one, but excited to send one!
Verb ghost oil without gravity – I used years ago and I’m not sure why I stopped. I got this to try again and love it! I think it’s better than the new horn oil.
A quick voice for the Oribe Serene Scalp Densive Shampoo; Softener and Spray. For me this is the best thickening line I’ve tried. I received these in PR a month ago and while not a daily treatment for me, I like it every time I want more thickening in the hair without feeling weighing down.
Kerastase started a new line of Gloss Absolu and I was 100% convinced that this would be the sacred grail material. I like it, but it’s not one I can use everyday as the guy is very rich for my hair. I bought the entire line, including the Anti-Frizz shampoo; Softener; Olive oil and Spray anti-Frizz. I didn’t like the Anti-Frizz injection (it’s too thick/heavy), but I like the oil.
I bought the minis of both Glossier you Fleur eau de Parfum and Jo Malone Beach Blossom Cologne To try first. I decided to go for the full size of the glossy you have the fleur that has a unique floral and salty mixture. I’m usually not in osmanthus notes but that’s very nice.
I had the highest hopes for Blossom Jo Malone Beach. I liked the list of all notes and the package looks so beautiful. Unfortunately, this did not go well with the chemistry of my skin and had zero constant power. I think the best seaside fragrance to date is Creed Virgin Island Water, which is quite the figure (and unfortunately not available in Sephora), but nothing else compares.
Makeup
I went to the sea a little with the makeup. I could have been able to review everything before the sale is over, but I have some video with samples that could help.
Merit started a new Shadow and Signature of huge investment. You can see them in action here. The overall atmosphere of both is that it is very clear for a minimalist appearance. The lips are clean and glossy that I think they are so interesting. They slip on the lips beautifully, but they are very thin. The lip oil is also thin, but they lay nicely on top of the lining. I don’t know I would call them must be-haves for my makeup preference. I prefer something with more pigment.
New shades of Natural bomb oils He fell and as an addicted to the glow I put all the shades. All I didn’t like is Rose Amber (it pulled very cool/gray on me). You can see them in action here and distorted here. I love the smooth texture, they feel thinner than the original Fenty Gloss bomb. The shine looks intimidating, but on the lips it is not as shiny as they look in the tube. The best are Fu $$ y and fenty shine. Frosted Bunz is a revised one I really like.
Gisou started new shades of Infusion honey oils for lips. They are fun and I like the formula, but the colors are extremely clean. See them in action here.
I got three powders to try and could try two of them. I really love the YSL all hours Hyper Vaulted Adjustment powder (I bought 02 fair means). I had great hopes for the Kosas cloud set loose dust But he settled in fine lines and seems to underline them. I think maybe my skin is very dry so now. I could keep it when my skin returns to normal (now it is very dry).
I got the Givenchy Prisme Libre Matte Pressed Powder At 03 Voile Rose. I didn’t have the opportunity to try it yet, but I am very curious about how to perform. Quick advice for things sold on the internet. I highly recommend doing online buy online at the store. Many stores still have stock even if things are sold online and you can search stores near you by zip code. If you use this option and buy it online (to pick up in the store), you will keep your purchase for a few days if you can’t do so immediately.
I got some Haus workshops. Broke it Bio-ectopic gloss And they have the most beautiful glass shine. I’m not usually in a glossy/glossy look on the face, but these were so beautiful that I had to try some shades.
For my choices in Bronzer, I re -examined the Dior Forever Nude Bronzer Jumbo Sizes in yesterday’s place. He also added some thoughts about the Westman Atelier Sun Tone Bronzing Drops in Shade 2 And in this post.
Haus Labs also repeated their bronze in a Velvet powder without talc bronze dust. I really try to love it, as it is so popular, but the texture simply does not sit well on my skin and the colors do not look properly in my skin tone. I got the third lighter shades Terra Sol Light Medium.
As a pipe mascara fan now I got the Too much face with ribbon wrapped mascara of extreme pipes to see how compared to the Tart. It’s nice and no smudges or flakes, but it doesn’t add much volume to my lashes. I think tarte is much better.
I repeated the Glossier Boy Brow Arch Pencil in cool coffee and hot coffee. Although they do not have a tone of product, I still really like it. I can wear either hot or cool versions, so I bought one of each again.
This wraps my super long Sephora. If you were wondering any of these items, I hope this posting the first impressions can help!
Stay tuned for more reviews and samples as I return to my routine! You are also planning a Giveaway this week for blog readers and will also host one on my Instagram.
