In a world where Glam meets GRIT, the founder of House of Heels Miami redefines what it means to balance beauty and business. As a full-time businessman, a dedicated mother and career woman dating from 9 to 5, she does not weigh it all-she should not sacrifice any lane in multiple hats. In this exclusive Hair Hair Magazine magazine, she opens for her journey, her hair hacks and her heart.
HH: As a busy businessman who weighs a 9-5-5, motherhood and a thriving business, how do you maintain a self-care routine, especially when it comes to your hair?
Renea: With my schedule I don’t have hours to spend every day on style, so I focus on low maintenance style that protect my hair and save time. I often choose protective styles such as wigs that last and allow me to get up and go. I plan time for self-care once a month.
Whether it’s a quiet night or getting a massage, I treat it as a necessary recharge. Balancing everyone is not easy, but I learned that self-care is not a luxury that is fuel. My hair care, even in small ways, helps me feel focused, confident and ready to conquer what the day brings. Whether I am packaging, in a business meeting, or spend time with my child, I appear as my best starting with how I care.

Renea: It’s all about a simple, consistent routine that works for your lifestyle. Keep your hair hydrated, humidity is the key to healthy hair and get your vitamins. Healthy hair starts inside. Also, stick to a hair care routine. As a busy woman, the goal is to keep it simple, healthy and elegant.
HH: Balancing work, family and business can be overwhelming. How do you stay organized and avoid exhaustion while keeping everything smoothly?
Renea: Work, family and running House of Heels Miami can surely feel overwhelming. Planning is everything, I live in my calendar! I set boundaries with my time, especially when it comes to business. Even with a busy schedule, I draw little moments for myself, whether it does my hair, go for a walk, publication or just sit silently for 10 minutes. Eve organized and avoiding exhaustion is about creating systems, protecting your peace and giving yourself a grace.
HH: From your first business surgery to start House of Heels Miami, your journey was inspired. What advice do you have for women who are hesitant to take this first step in entrepreneurship?

Renea: You will never feel 100% ready and that is ok. I didn’t have all the answers when I started. But if you wait for the “perfect time”, you will always find a reason to hold back. Take the jump with what you have and trust that you will understand it along the way.
Its story is a vibrant reminder that success does not come from waiting for the perfect moment-it is built in the meantime, during the early mornings, late at night and any protective style in the meantime.
