As summer arrived and my obsession with a fake tan somehow deepens, I couldn’t wait to try the new Sandi Sands Ultra Express foam. Here’s everything you need to know.
My criticism
If you have read my own Fake Tan Tips PostYou will already know that I am super selective when it comes to tanning products. As someone who is of course very pale, it takes a lot for a tan to impress me, especially when I look for this deeper, darker glow. So when I saw the Bondi Sands Ultra Express Self Tanning Foam, I had to give it.
Easy application with built -in color guide
One of my favorite things about this tan is how easy it is to apply. The foam type slides over the skin effortlessly and the color guide is excellent. It makes it really easy to see exactly where you have applied the product, so there is no risk of missing patches, which is ideal if you are not seasoned.
No bad smell
Another important advantage is that it does not smell. I have tried many tans, and while the classic fake tan of aroma does not offend me at all (always willing to overlook it for the sake of a black) I really didn’t see any fragrance, even when I wore it for more than the time I had to wear.
My first attempt – breaking the rules (a little)
The first time I tried the Ultra Express Foam, I really went a little scam that is not uncommon for me when it comes to fake tanning. I put it all over my body, but instead of washing it after an hour, as they gave instructions, as soon as I wash my hands and left the rest in one night to see what would happen.
In the morning, I flush it and was so happy with the result. It gave me a truly natural, even tan, not overly developed and not an orange hint. This tells me that the product is probably doing all the hard work in this first hour and there is no need to leave it for another. It is really one of the few express tans I have tried that it really delivers to the promised time.
The second test: the depth of the test on my feet
The legs can be so difficult to do properly, especially if you are pale like me. So, for the second round, I applied two coats to my feet only and left it for an hour, just as it is. After I am rinsing, I was really impressed. The color was deeper and more uniform, but it was still natural. It is rare for an explicit tan to give this kind of effect that quickly, but it certainly does.
Because i love it
Here’s the thing? Most express tans do not give me the color I want in the time frame they claim. I almost always end up holding them on the road more (what kind of defeat the point of a fast black). But Bondi Sands Ultra Express Ultra Dark gives me honestly the shine I want in just one hour.
Taking this, if I am really selective, for an extremely dark, it could be darker, especially compared to some of my favorite overnight stay. But because it really works in an hour, I leave it! Ecclesiastes and ease more than compensating for it, and still gives a truly wonderful, rich color that looks great on the skin.
This is a change of change if you are like me and you are often with a dress in mind, but there is no time to prepare a complete tan routine. You know those times when you want to wear the little dress or shorts, but your skin tone says differently! With this, you can black and rinse within an hour and continue as if it were always in the design!
Wonderful value for money
Another bonus? It is significantly cheaper than many fake tans, but the performance is impressive. You do not need to use product loads and because you do not leave it at night, it is so fast and effective.
Final thoughts
I’m definitely impressed with the Bondi Sands Ultra Express Self Tanning Foam at Ultra Dark. It is easy to apply, gives a great color compensation quickly and is perfect if you need a tan in a hurry. I will definitely keep it in my last -minute beauty arsenal, vacation and every time I want this deep, bronze glow with little effort.
