For today, I wanted to talk about cleaning products. The more I learn about conventional cleaning products, the more perched. If you are interested in cleaner DIY options, I wanted to talk about how to make your own natural cleaning DIY products that work just as well (if not better!) From the versions purchased from the store, without all the harsh chemicals. These are safe for children, pets and planet, and many can be done with ingredients you already have at home.

Top ingredients for stock for natural cleaning

Before you start mixing, here are some essential ingredients to have:

White vinegar – antibacterial and ideal for fat cutting

Baking soda – excellent for cleaning and deodorant

Castille soap – natural, biodegradable base soap

Essential oils (such as tea tree, lavender, lemon or eucalyptus) – for aromas and antimicrobial properties

Hydrogen peroxide – a natural disinfectant

Alcohol rubbing (isopropyl) – kills germs and evaporates quickly

Soda washing – stronger than baking soda. Useful in washing machine and hard work

5 Easy Natural Cleaning Recipes DIY

1.

Great for countertops, sinks and bath surfaces.

1/2 cup white vinegar

2 cups distilled water

1 teaspoon soap

10 drops of tea oil + 10 drops of lemon essential oil

Combine in a spray bottle and shake gently. Avoid using marble or granite.

2. Glass + Mirror Cleaner

No rod and natural.

1/4 cup white vinegar

1/4 cup of alcohol rubbing

1 tablespoon of corn starch

2 cups distilled water

Optional: 5 drops of essential oil

Shake long before each use and spray on glass or mirror surfaces.

3. Natural disinfection spray

Ideal for high touch surfaces such as light drinkers and light switches.

1 cup alcohol alcohol (70% or higher)

1 cup of distilled water

20 drops of tea oil or eucalyptus oil

Combine in a spray bottle. Allow to sit on the surfaces for 30 seconds before wiping.

4. Toilet cleaner

Fighting of odors and stains of course.

1/2 cup baking soda

1/4 cup white vinegar

Pour in the bowl and leave the fizz. Pull with toilet brush and flirting.

5. Soft rubbing for bathtubs + sinks

Great for soap scum and hard dirt.

1/2 cup baking soda

2 tablespoons of soap

5 drops of lemon essential oil

Stir into a paste, apply with sponge, rub and rinse thoroughly.

Bonus: Natural spraying of air extracts

Tired of synthetic perfumes?

Try this:

1/2 cup distilled water

2 tablespoons of alcohol

15 drops of lavender + 10 drops of orange essential oil

Spray in the air or on fabric surfaces (try first).
