You may have first identified it at College Hill: Celebrity Edition, where stars such as Big Slim and Nene leak at Texas Southern University College of Pharmacy & Health Sciences. But what the cameras do not fully record is the multidimensional magic behind this scientist who was converted into a mogul-lonely.
Long before he becomes an epidemiologist at the TSU campus and a respected trainer, Zuri has already dominated a different kind of art – the art of beauty. Known as Houston’s guru for permanent eyebrows, Zuri has conquered both the science of the skin and the art of micro-colonization, bringing its clients not only a new appearance, but a lasting impulse that lasts.
Her journey began with a lifelong love for makeup, an artistic eye and meticulous attention to detail. This passion, supported by a BS in Biology from Texas South University and two degrees by Texas A&M, transformed it into a perfectionist both in the laboratory and in the beauty chair. It is pride in creating a job that not only seems incredible on the first day, but heals beautifully over time – because in zuri, skin health is just as important as style.

In 2019, he won the PMU Women of Color award for the best young artist and has not been slowed since. He has been named Sheeo of the Year (2022) and is recognized as the best speaker in the science of permanent makeup (2022) – awards reflecting the rare mix of technical expertise and creative vision.
Her impact reached beyond Houston, featuring features in Essence, Afrotech and Airwaves at 97 The Box. However, at the heart of everyone, Zuri remains committed to lifting others, whether it trains students for public health or enhances a customer’s natural beauty.
