This is one of those posts that does exactly what it says on the tin. It’s a list of all the books I managed to read in 2024. There were four I had to give up, right at the beginning of the year – I just couldn’t get through them and was afraid I had to pick them up night after night – so my total tally would have been slightly higher had I stuck with them, but it was still a relatively fruitful year of reading.
I usually make very short notes after I finish a book – just three or four words to jog my brain to remember if I really liked something or was disappointed – so I thought I’d include these too. They’re not reviews and weren’t noted with any intention of sharing publicly, but I thought they’d add a splash of color and personality to an otherwise pretty boring list.
So there you go. I haven’t included the abandoned books because it seems like a bit of a diss and I don’t want to hurt anyone’s feelings…
