Bobbi Brown Extra Plump Lip Serums ($38) have arrived tinted colors and the formula is extremely good. They initially launched a clear version Nude pink which is a milky pink in the tube but goes on sheer. There are now tinted options that are very sheer and offer a minimal tint.
The Extra Plump Lip Serums are smooth non-sticky balms in stick form. They have a sharp applicator with a sponge and as soon as you apply it you feel almost immediate hydration and relief from any dryness.
They are described as plump but there is no tingling or stinging. I don’t find them as full, but more reinforcing. I would compare the performance to the Charlotte Tilbury Collagen Lip Baths for the thick effect (the Bobbi Brown ones are much sheerer in color and thinner/softer).
I already swatched 3 shades last month when they launched in Bare Blossom, Bare Rose and Bare Peach. The Bobbi Brown team sent out a fun PR pack with all the shades so I saw them today.
- Bare Blossom is a pure milky pink
- Bare Rose is a medium pale pink (one of my favorites)
- Bare Peach is a pure peach
- Bare Lilac is a milky soft purple
- Bare Cocoa is a pure soft caramel brown
- Bare Raspberry is a pure red
- Bare Plum is a sheer plum red
- Bare Pink is a milky pink that is clear
I saw all of these on the lips on me Reels. I’ve seen my favorite on the lips in the photos below.
I’d say Bare Rose is my number one pick, followed by Bare Peach and then Bare Raspberry. They’re all incredibly sheer and I wish the pigment level was at least 50% higher, but I think the formula is really good and they’ll be nice for touch ups throughout the day when you need a lip moisture boost.

Overall I love but I don’t think you need more than one color as they are so sheer. I actually prefer the pigment level at Lip Gloss with Crushed Oil better and wish they had expanded the shade line instead of launching tinted versions of it Extra Plump Lip Balmsbut both are very good.
