My By Terry Hyaluronic Serum Concealer Review
I really liked this concealer. I love the coverage it gives. I don’t find I need to layer it at all as it gives instant opaque coverage as you will see in the photo below. Here are 3 Apricot Nude flecked on bare skin:
I find it’s very easy to blend, either with fingers or a fluffy brush, and gives a lovely smooth finish with minimal effort. I haven’t noticed it settling into lines or wrinkles and it has great staying power.
It has a lovely creamy texture that feels light yet hydrating. I used to be obsessed with the By Terry Densiliss Concealer which is absolutely beautiful. It really reminds me of this formula.
Compared to the Hydra-Concealer, which was the brand’s last concealer launch ( review and swatches here ), it has more coverage and a slightly less shiny finish, but I think it’s actually more hydrating.
I love the doe-foot applicator.
One dip applies the perfect amount of product and I really like how the curve hugs the contours of the skin for easy and precise application.
Frequently Asked Questions
What does By Terry Hyaluronic Serum Concealer cover?
I would say this is a medium to full coverage concealer, however if you use less product you can really go above and beyond. It is definitely buildable and not cake heavy
Does it need to be set up?
I tend to avoid powder if I can and have found that this formula sets very well without the need for powder.
Does it crush?
I find this concealer to be really long lasting and I haven’t noticed any creasing or flaking. It keeps the under eye area really hydrated and smooth.
Does it oxidize?
With the shades I’ve tried, I’ve noticed any oxidation.
Is it good for dry or mature skin?
As this is a creamy, hydrating formula, I think it’s perfect for dry and mature skin.
How does the By Terry Hyaluronic Serum Concealer finish?
The finish is natural yet shiny. It doesn’t look wet like some shimmery concealers, but gives a lovely smooth finish to the skin.
