My criticism
First impressions
So the packaging is really beautiful. The lipstick is housed in an amazing gold deco gold case, which is beautifully lightweight but still feels expensive. The complex detail that looks like a grid adds an extremely luxe touch, making the lipstick you want to highlight instead of putting away in your bag. And the best place? It is a recovery! A victory for both viability and long -term value.
Formula – skin care meets makeup
Terry is known for infusion of their products with the benefits of skin care, and the Rouge Platulent is no exception. It is full of peptides and gutters and the texture is divine -full but light, slips on the lips like butter. It is installed in a velvet, satin-matte finish that feels comfortable all day, without any dryness.
Spectrum
The Rouge is rich in 12 beautifully edited shades, covering everything, from classic bare to bold reds. Some shades for me:
2 bare velvet -The perfect daily pink-brown. Effortless and elegant
6 red notice -ligan orange-red that illuminates the skin
10 Cherry chérie – Amazing blue red
The coloring is rich and full of a single stroke, making it a dream for anyone who loves a bold rim appearance.
Wear Test – lasts?
I have worn the 2 bare velvet shade and I really like the way it performs. It lasts very well on my lips and even though it fades as the day goes on, it does it evenly.
The formula remains feeling really comfortable and is easy to complete without getting cakey or attached to any dry patches. It’s nice to apply even without a lip investment, though I really like lip liner for a little more definition. I have used the Jones Road Lip pencil with it.

Final verdict – worth the figure?
In £ 49, the Rouge is undoubtedly a luxury market, but the combination of gorgeous packaging, high quality formula and reproducing design makes a justified leniency. If you are looking for a lipstick that does something more than coloring your lips – one that feeds, plump and moisturize – this could be worth the figure. Fill It’s £ 34 and you can buy them and exchange them from your main case if you want more than one colors.
