Chanel Beauty Haul & Repurchases

I stopped by my local Chanel Beauty boutique over the weekend to restock some of my favorites. Many of you have asked to see a more detailed look and I also received a few things in PR that I wanted to share a look at.

If you have an independent Chanel Beauty boutique in your area, I highly recommend visiting one! They have many items that you cannot easily find at other retailers. Beauty boutiques carry the entire range of fragrances from Les Eaux de Chanel, Les Exclusifsbody oils and they also have a really good selection of Glasses. They occasionally stock small leather goods and cases but sell out very quickly.

I love shopping at these boutiques as the staff have always been very friendly and very knowledgeable about the entire line. There are a few beauty boutiques in Miami that I always love to visit and one that recently opened in Tampa near me.

The complete list of Beauty Boutiques are listed here.

Skin care

Chanel L'Huile anti-pollution cleansing oil

I absolutely love the Chanel cleansing range and am obsessed with it L’Huile anti-pollution cleansing oil ($55). No matter what else I try, I keep coming back to it. The texture is silky smooth, emulsifies very well with warm water and doesn’t strip the skin once it’s rinsed off.

I also love their Gel-to-Oil cleansers. They are similar to a cleansing oil or balm but in a gel form so it’s not as messy/dirty when you apply. Once massaged it turns into oil and dissolves your face makeup. They keep interrupting my favorites from the Le Blanc line, but they still manage Sublimage formula which is called the L’Huile-en-Gel De Demaquillage Gel-to-Oil Cleanser for ultimate comfort and revealing shine. This is also amazing.

Makeup Restocks – Rouge Coco Baume

Chanel Rouge Coco Baume Chilling Pink and My Rose

I reapplied some lip balms. You girls know I like it Rouge Coco Baume formula ($45) – I re-swatched two shades Chilling Pink (revision on the lips too here) and My rose (on the lips here). I think every shade in this formula is beautiful.

Les Beiges Healthy Glow Foundation

Chanel Les Beiges Healthy Glow Foundation

I renewed my favorite foundation in two shades: Les Beiges Healthy Glow Foundation ($65) in BD41 and BD51. These have a golden tone which is better for me, although the new BO olive range works well too. Formula wise, this is my favorite foundation from Chanel. It has medium coverage, slightly moisturizing but not too much, the range of colors is wide and they have multiple undertone options. I’ve shown the shades I have below in B40, BD41, B50 (the No 1 de Chanel formula), BD51 and BO53.

Chanel Foundation Swatches B40, BD41, B50, BD51 and BO53

If you have dry skin and want medium natural coverage, I recommend it Les Beiges Healthy Glow or the No. 1 de Chanel. If you want something super sheer and just one shade, I love it Les Beiges Water-Fresh Tint.

Ombre Essentielle

Chanel Ombre Essentielle Eyeshadow Singles and Top Coat

Chanel launched new single eyeshadows at Ombre Essentielle Long-wearing eyeshadow ($40) and also in a Multipurpose Top Coat ($40). I’m usually more of a fan of palettes than singles, but I swatched these in store and was really impressed with the pigmentation and textures. The shimmers are almost creamy to the touch with how velvety smooth they are and the pigmentation is amazing! The mattes are super smooth, but some have a very slight sheen for some depth.

I bought one at Top Coat Blanc Perle which is an iridescent sort of smooth shimmer. It is like an opal pink color with a soft almost creamy feel. Transforms other shadows to appear more dimensional.

Yesterday a PR pack arrived with a few more shades which I’ve seen below and luckily they’re the ones I had my eye on from my in-store swatch session. Rose Charnel is a matte soft warm coral rose, Brun Fauve is a matte warm coffee, Quartz vapor it’s a shimmery bronze almost khaki taupe. I also watched the mattes with the top coat on top.

A lot of you have been asking about the brushes and tools, so I’ve shared a quick look over the eyeshadow brushes I love from Chanel. It looks like the first fluffy one I showed above can be discontinued, but the second round brush is Flat Eyeshadow Brush 202on the right is the Double Ended Folding Brush 200 (each end also comes with caps), Round brush 204 and Eye Contour Brush No 203.

Fragrance repurchase + New additions

Chanel Les Eaux de Chanel Paris-Biarritz

The Les Eaux de Chanel Paris-Biarritz ($113 for the travel size) is one of my all-time favorites. It’s been a favorite for years as I’m a fan of anything with a fresh citrus vibe. It has a beautiful blend of Sicilian mandarin and lily of the valley. For me the citrus notes are dominant and the floral notes are really subtle but strong enough to round out the tangerine and soften the overall feel. I love that it comes in a travel size so I can bring it with me in my pack on the go or for trips. i also love Paris-Riviera which is another citrus, but a little brighter and sharper.

Chanel Les Exclusifs Beauty Boutique

I smelled all four of the new one Exclusive body oils and it’s pure luxury in a bottle. I think so Beige is the best followed by Gardenia, 1957 and after Coromandel. I tried it 1957 oil in the store and the scent lasted for hours on my skin into the evening. The formula of these oils is very good. They have the perfect texture and are not thick or sticky. If I didn’t already have Gardenia, I would have bought the Beige, but these bottles are so big it will take me forever to use one.

Perfume Chanel No 5 L'Eau Drop BEAUTY LOOKBOOK

I have a preview of it No 5 L’Eau Eau de Toilette Drop ($155) which officially launches on the 13th The PR team sent their latest fragrance launch which is their classic No. 5 L’Eau packaged in a special limited edition round case similar to the hand creams, but in a transparent bottle. It’s a clean scent that I think suits the summer heat very well. It is a fresh clean fragrance that is a floral citrus + aldehydes. It has a beautiful blend of lemon, mandarin, orange, rose, jasmine, ylang-ylang, vetiver, cedar, musk. I think it’s beautiful! (it’s on the nails above Bois des Iles which I think can be discontinued, but Rouge Noir is similar).

Chanel Les Exclusifs Comete

Last but not least is a look at the new Exclusively at Comete ($325 – $500). This is a beautiful soft floral powder with cherry blossom, iris and heliotrope. It has a powdery feel, but the cherry blossom adds sweetness. It is airy and light. On me the lasting power is very long and strong. It’s very different from what I usually gravitate towards, but it’s fresh and soft with a feminine vibe.

For those asking, here’s the beauty breakdown of what I’m wearing on mine Chanel Beauty Reel:

This completes my Chanel beauty! I hope you found the extra details helpful!

Gifted PR items include Comete, No 5 L’Eau and Ombre Essentielle.
