Hello friends! what are you doing I hope you are enjoying your morning. As Thanksgiving approaches, I’m starting to look forward to enjoying a few days with family, eating pie, and planning my Black Friday plan of attack. 😉 I’m also looking forward to the Peloton Thanksgiving turkey ride! Before I get into what’s going on around here, I wanted to share some of my favorite last minute Thanksgiving recipe ideas. These quick and easy Thanksgiving recipes can help minimize the stress associated with preparing Thanksgiving dinner.
Last minute thanksgiving recipe ideas
I thought I’d share some last minute Thanksgiving recipe ideas if you’re trying to figure out what to make room for on your Thanksgiving table!
I also wanted to share the recipe for Kyle’s Perfect Thanksgiving Turkey, although it’s not really last minute. You’ll want to start seasoning it the night before!
Now, here are some of my last minute recipes:

Some recent adventures:
A good friend had a craft night at her house and we made the COOLEST BARREL sock gnomes. When she posted the picture of the gnomes on the invitation, I thought there was no way they would look that cool, but it turns out they were super easy (<— even for the problem craft). She had all the supplies at her house and we had a great time making our gnomes, snacking on delicious appetizers and drinking wine.
How cute are these kids?
I’ll share some decorative hollies soon, but here’s an entryway table that makes me happy.
The pilot and I took in a basketball game the other night and made ourselves at home, devouring our nachos from El Charro and cheering for the Cats. We usually like to get a mini ticket package (8 games) but since his schedule is so sporadic and bananas, it didn’t make sense this season. Instead we look for tickets whenever we can and our team looks amazing so far!
My Favorite Basketball Date:
Now that we’re officially in the holiday spirit, the famous nog is back:
(#never forget)
and I took the girls to see Frozen 2 at the Roadhouse. I have SO MANY thoughts on this – I didn’t love it nearly as much as the first one, but I really appreciated the power ballad – but no spoilers. I will say I’m still trying to figure out why they made one Cats movie since it is the worst musical of all time.
We have breakfast at Kyle’s place, so I’ll bring the requisite pot of eggs, and then in the afternoon, I get this salad to my uncles.
I hope you have a safe and happy Thanksgiving!
Please find out how I am thankful for all of you every day. I wake up every morning so grateful for the opportunity to connect with you and hang out with you here. Thank you for being in my virtual circle of friends and being so wonderful. <3
