H&M is back with another designer collaboration. For spring, the Swedish giant tapped Rok Hwang, creative director of London-based pop-up label Rokh, for gorgeously deconstructed wardrobe staples.
Boot into April 18 at 10 a.m. ESTThe Rokh x H&M collaboration showcases the Korean designer’s signatures, from avant-garde detailing, intricate sewing techniques and layering to detachable elements. “Rokh is at the forefront of a new wave of Korean designers whose conceptual yet wearable clothes are seducing fashion right now,” said H&M’s head of womenswear design, Ann-Sofie Johansson.
The collection features elevated basics that feature modifiable details. You will find everything from detachable cocktail dresses and asymmetrical skirts with button seams to double layer trench coats and jackets that can be worn backwards. “I always focus on making my collections as timeless as possible, and one way I do that is with customizable details,” Hwang said in a Press release. “Seeing people interpret my clothes in their own way is one of my greatest pleasures, and I can’t wait to see how customers engage with this fun and dynamic collection for H&M.”
Beyond the apparel, this collaboration includes playful accessories like matching flowered gloves and pantyhosetwo tone jewelry, clear heelsand one monogram briefcase.
