Hello friends! Good Friday! How are you; I hope you had a wonderful week. It’s been a little wild over here. I had to have my first mammogram after a potentially worrying spot showed up on my last ultrasound – it was NO picnic, but I am extremely grateful for the good results. Oh and Liv broke her finger! We’re going to the ortho today, but hopefully I’ll need to brace it for a while.
What are you up to this weekend? We are headed to a military event and are going to do a family hike between the holidays. The weather has been a DREAM this week so we are taking advantage of it. I also hope you have a fun and beautiful weekend ahead of you.

Random/Life:
Second ear piercing! Liv has been wanting to get her second piercing for a while, so we told her she could do it. We got one of her friends to tag along (for moral support) and headed to Rowan, the new piercing spot at La Encantada. All earrings are hypoallergenic and all piercers are registered nurses. It was very cute and meant.
Liv asked me if I would go first so I said yolo and got the second piercing. (I had originally done them in elementary school but let them close.)
It didn’t hurt at all – I was shocked!!

I can’t believe how much I love getting a second piercing. It’s fun to have an extra sparkle.
We went to the Wildcats game as a family last night and it was a blast. Liv has an intense dance schedule, so we haven’t made it to any games this season. We let her ditch one night (she had a recently broken finger, after all) and to our hearts’ content, we ate all the game food and enjoyed the evening together.
This label maker. I know, it’s a weird thing to get excited about. Buuuut I got this on Prime Day and LOVE this little thing. It was useful for labeling items in the cupboard and also hangers for dance competition costumes! Check it out here.
Meg’s baby shower! We got to celebrate this mom and my new nephew on the way. We had appetizers at Commoner & Co., played games, ate cake, and watched her open all the amazing presents. I can’t believe how much better baby clothes are now!! The fabrics have received a major upgrade and are so incredibly soft.
These coasters teacher! I ordered these for the girls’ teachers for teacher appreciation to pair with a Starbucks gift card. I love how they coordinated!

This skirt. It was on my recent RTR Unlimited mission and I’m thinking of keeping it. Skirts don’t often fit me – I have a short torso and they’re often too tight around the waist – and this fits and matches so many tops and sweaters.

Fitness, health and good nutrition:
Strength training with dumbbells.
Simple but delicious air fryer chicken. (PS, I’m in the market to trade our air fryer for a non-stick one. If you have a stainless or glass one that you love, please lmk!)
