Friday Faves 2.23

Hello friends! Good Friday! What are you doing this weekend? The kids are on break for the Rodeo – it’s an Arizona thing!– so we’re enjoying our sleep, fun adventures, and no work (bless it). I’d love to hear what’s going on!

I’m on day 5 of it CBO protocol and go together. It was very hard to live without garlic and onions, but I have made many amazing meals with vegetables and protein, in addition to the supplements. I will share my healing journey in an upcoming post. if you have any questions you’d like me to answer, please write in the comments!

It’s time for the weekly Friday Faves party! Here I share my favorite finds from the week and around the web. I always love to hear about your favorites too, so shout out something you love in the comments section below.

Friday Faves 2.23

Random/Life:

A little getaway in San Diego. The pilot and I spent just over 24 hours at one of our favorite places for our good friend Jeremy’s 50th birthday. We have been friends with Betsy and Jeremy since Liv was in preschool and they have become like family. We have traveled everywhere with them and will meet often in various places. We flew into San Diego on Saturday morning

and went straight to Liberty Station. We shopped, walked and had a great meal at Tender Greens. We hung out at the hotel and then got ready for the party!

(While we were getting ready, we watched the John Mulaney special on Netflix. It was great to watch daytime TV together.)

The party was amazing, as expected. Betsy always has the best decor and an incredible spread. Chef Ron and his team were in the kitchen preparing all the food and had a bartender on the patio mixing signature cocktails and drinks.

(I took a poll on IG to see if the pilot should shave his moustache. 300+ people said YES, while about 16 said he should keep it. Those 16 people were enough to tell him to keep it haha)

It was a super late night, super fun, and I somehow managed to get my booty out of bed for a Sunday Lagree class at Define.

If you’re in San Diego, take a class with Carina! We used to teach barre together when we lived in SD, and she is so much fun and motivating. I love seeing her face and visiting her lovely studio whenever we are in town!

We had breakfast at Liberty Station – we didn’t leave Point Loma the entire time – and then headed to the airport to return to the crew. It’s wild how just one night can make you feel human again and so renewed.

This just launched and it’s already living up to the hype.

Don’t forget to check out this week’s podcast with Angie Lee!

Fashion + Beauty:

SUPER exciting Beautycounter launch next week. I haven’t been posting as much about Beautycounter lately because I haven’t been that excited about the new products. I’ve been waiting years for this to come, and it’s going to be GOOD.

It feels like spring this week, so of course I have my eye on some spring finds. I haven’t liked the RTR option so much lately, so I’ll probably stop for a while and actually shop 😉

Here are some of the things I look out for:

This midi dress

This short nap dress

This dress in sandals or dressed up for a date

These heart earrings

These Birks

These balls

This square neck swimsuit

Fitness, health and good nutrition:

New rebounder! I have wanted one for a while to support my lymphatic system and I found this cheap on Amazon. It was super easy to set up and it’s fun to play music and jump for 5-10 minutes. Unsurprisingly, it’s a big hit with kids, too.

You must try the best gluten free brownies.

I appreciate this piece of science especially since women usually get the short end of the stick in these things.

Happy Friday, friends!
