Friday Faves 3.1

Hello friends! Good Friday! What are you doing this weekend? I’m looking forward to a yoga class, dinner with my folks, and a weekend of *nothing* after 4 weeks of back-to-back trips to Phoenix, Vegas, San Diego, and then back to Phoenix last weekend. Even though we had a blast, it will be nice to have a relaxing weekend at home.

Last week’s adventure: taking Liv to see Olivia Rodrigo! This was one of her Christmas presents and she was looking forward to it. (I felt bad that the four of us couldn’t go, but I was fighting for my life to get the two tickets when the presale went live!) P had a daddy-daughter adventures bowling and arcade with friends.

Olivia Rodrigo was incredible. I really like her voice – Liv is a HUGE fan – and I was blown away by the talent, production quality and dancers. I liked it more than Taylor Swift (don’t throw anything at me!)

We went with friends, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The rest of the week is filled with house stuff – can’t wait to show you the end result – and the usual school/dance/work/work/life craziness.

It’s time for the weekly Friday Faves party! Here I share some of my favorite finds from the week and around the web. I always love to hear about your favorites too, so shout out something you love in the comments section below.

Read, watch, listen:

Listening to this podcast episode while writing this post.

Don’t forget to check out this week’s HRL episode with Udo Erasmus’ 8-step process for total health.

On a mission to help Mazer live forever.rrrrr.

How a small habit can change your life.

Health + Fitness:

I put in a new CGM and it was fun to check things out and get new data. I was interested to hear how it has responded to the huge increase in beans in my life – I eat beans with either lunch or dinner every day in CBO Protocol! – and it remained stable. If you are curious about trying Nutrisense, I highly recommend it. It’s incredible to see how our bodies respond to food, exercise, sleep, and stress, and their RDs help you analyze the data, provide advice, and experiment. You can see my full post here and use code GINA50 here to try it.

(I made these sweet potato and chickpea tortillas with equal parts cooked sweet potato and chickpea flour. I cooked them in a little coconut oil for 2-3 minutes per side. Be sure to use wet hands to form the disks.)

Fashion + Beauty:

This Madewell dress! I tried wearing it the other day and then it started pouring. Fortunately, spring is just around the corner.

Reader faves from February. It’s always fun to go through the analytics and see what products you’ve liked the most this month that I’ve shared on the blog.

Here are February’s top picks:

This sleep dress. I have it in tan and want another color.

The best retention cleaner. If you wear Invisalign or a retainer, you need it. It is much less expensive than some versions and works extremely well. It’s also small enough for travel.

This shoe spray. This is my holy grail for sneakers (especially kids). I also used it on Liv’s white backpack before school started and it still looks brand new.

This little rebounder. Such a fun way to support your lymphatic system and I love jumping for 5-10 minutes every day.

This square neck jumpsuit. The perfect mom swimsuit.

These slides are amazingly neutral and great for spring/summer.

This cozy robe.

My passionate jocks for life and travel.

These heart earrings.

This bodysuit in so many great colors.

Something exciting is coming Beautycounter this month!!! Make sure you’re on my newsletter to get the info first!

Happy Friday, friends! Have a great day and see you soon!
