Friday Faves 3.29

Hello friends! Good Friday! How was the week? Ours has been a whirlwind, but SO much fun.

I had our choir last Friday, drove Liv to Phoenix for her dance competition early Saturday morning, spent the night, pilot and IP left, raced home for our Sunday show while they stayed in Phoenix for the 2nd day of the dance competition.

I took the bus from Tucson to Phoenix early Monday morning, got dropped off at the airport, went to Anaheim for Disney fun for a couple of days and then to San Diego for a couple of days. We are finally back home after a super fun adventure and spring break!

It sure felt good to sleep in our bed last night and I’m looking forward to a relaxing Easter weekend with the family. I’d love to hear what you’ve been up to!

It’s time for the weekly Friday Faves party! Here I share some of my favorite finds from the week and around the web. I always love to hear about your favorites too, so shout out something you love in the comments section below.

Friday Faves 3.29

Spring Break:

Some photos from our Disney and San Diego adventures:

We had our usual Goofy’s Kitchen dinner (so good and such a fun way to start the trip!)

With my best girls:

These guys HOLD UP. We closed Disneyland and got back to the hotel at 1am. We then slept until 10am the next day lol.

This dreamy vegan ice cream from Moniker / Craft Creamery in Point Loma:

(I liked it so much, I ordered 8 pints online. It’s organic soy ice cream, and while the ingredients aren’t the best I’ve seen, it’s ice cream. The link to the creamer is here if you want to treat yourself!)

Beach Time in Coronado:

Always the best drink ever, half sweet:

and the best poke we had in San Diego from It’s Raw in Point Loma:

We also had an amazing OB Noodle House takeout dinner at Betsy’s house with our Kleigers.

It was the perfect trip!

Read, watch, listen:

I still love this book and I am absolutely disappointed. It might be my second favorite, after that The nightingale. It is beautifully written and the story is captivating. definitely check it out if you like historical fiction.

What are your five most watchable movies?

Hope and encouragement for difficult times.

Fitness, health, + good nutrition:

EquiLife is running their Founder’s Sale right now and you can stack my code FITNESSISTA10 on current deals (product only, doesn’t work on labs as they are heavily discounted during the sale)

Here are some of the things I would recommend:

The 7 day detox. It’s perfect for a little “spring cleaning” and a great way to help flush out toxins and repair deficiencies while giving your liver some extra love. That was my introduction to EquiLife (along with my IHP certifications) and I’ve been a fan ever since. My clients have also had incredible success this detox!

Universal Binder! I like this before sauna sessions, hot yoga, or when I’m about to eat something I don’t normally consume (like alcohol or fried food).

Full Spectrum Magnesium. I take this every night and sleep like a baby 🙂 It is important to use a balanced magnesium that includes different forms. Everyone has a different purpose and they work together.

Daily Nutritional Support. I have it every day, as a protein pudding (mixed with Truvani or NOW Foods protein), in oatmeal, or in a smoothie. It is packed with vitamins and nutrients and makes a great daily multivitamin.

The best weighted blanket. It’s so comfortable and can also help protect against EMFs.

5 large laboratories and Starter Kit discount. This is one of the only times the big five labs have a sale together. You can purchase the labs with these links and if you want me to be the one to discuss them with you, please email me before ordering (gina@fitnessista.com subject LABS). I can include the Vitality platform for you, a coaching call and I can make sure your results are tracked to me.

Deviled Egg Potato Salad.

Ideas for Easter recipes!

Fashion + Beauty:

Beautycounter clean eau de parfum is HERE. This launch has been 10 years in the making and they didn’t want to release a fragrance until they got it right. With Beautycounter, that means using the purest possible ingredients and rigorous testing for safety. The new scents are so beautiful, and so different (!), with great staying power. Get a discovery set here for $40 and you can try them all!

Happy Friday, friends! Have a great weekend and see you soon!
