I finally got around to trying the Haus Labs Triclone Skin Tech Foundation and I’ve been really enjoying it. Here’s what you need to know.
What is Haus Labs Triclone Skin Tech Foundation?

The formula is described as follows:

- Enriched with fermented arnica that helps reduce redness
- Protects against environmental stress
- Made with 20+ skin care ingredients
- It promises a hold on long clothes, without slipping or pilling
- Available in 51 shades (my shade is 130*)
Basic Ingredients
Patent Pending Fermented Lamb – Helps reduce redness and irritation, helps even skin tone, protects skin from environmental stress

The Undertones is:

My Haus Labs Triclone Skin Tech Foundation Review
I really don’t know why it took me so long to try this, because I was pumped at the UK launch and the sample was sent to me shortly after. I guess life kind of got in the way!
Anyway, I’ve tried it now, and I have to say, it’s really, really great. What I like about it is that it provides really good coverage, without building up, and still has a glowy finish. I often find that higher coverage foundations can lack the glow I like, but that’s not the case with this one.
So as you apply this foundation, you can really notice that it has a lovely nourishing finish. A light layer instantly gives you a truly healthy, hydrated look with luminosity.
I would say this gives a cool finish. If you have oily skin, you can adjust it.
The packaging is very nice and I like the feel of the glass bottle in my hand. It has a black chubby, which I didn’t expect with a silver cap, however the pump is really easy to control. You can dispense a small amount or a full pump with ease.
What skin type is it good for?
I have combination skin and I find this works well on my skin type. I can get away without powdering which is always good news for me. If I wanted it to last and last, I would use a little powder on the areas where I buff the most.
Haus Labs doesn’t mention what skin types it’s best for, so I’m guessing they intend it to be suitable for all skin types.
I think the Haus Labs foundation will be perfect for dry or mature skin types. Oily skin types who don’t like too much shine may not love it as much.
Do you need to dust it?
I’m combination skin, like I said, and I’ve mostly skipped powder. If you’re oily, you’ll probably want to set it with powder.
Is it easy to apply?
I used a buffing brush to apply this foundation and found that it melts into my skin and blends very easily. As you apply it, it feels like a serum type foundation.
How is the coverage?
What I like about this foundation is that it provides very good coverage in a very light layer, which means it keeps your skin looking like skin. It’s really good at covering any redness and I find it also minimizes pores nicely and is good for texture and fine lines.
Haus Labs states that this is a medium coverage foundation. However, I find the coverage to be more of a medium, but still look natural. I can use one pump for my whole face and this is more than enough to even out my skin tone, cover up redness and basically give the skin a more flawless look.
How is the finish?
I really like the glow this foundation gives to my skin. It makes my skin look healthy and dewy and has a glowy finish without being oily or greasy. I find it feels weightless on the skin.
What shade should I choose?
I went with the shade 130 Light Warm which I think works well for my skin tone. For reference, my other matches are:

This chart can help if you’re still not sure. I think it might be worth considering that I’m usually neutral toned and they matched me with warm.
Overall, this is my kind of foundation and if you like skin care makeup and a luminous finish, I think you could love this too. I think with this guy, less is more, so try to avoid using too much product.
