We’re a week away from Christmas and I’m so excited to share a look at some great last minute gift ideas from Guerlain. They sent over a few things to try which I think would make a super cute gift whether you want to treat yourself or are a perfume lover. love fragrance discovery set and I think they make great gifts. It’s the perfect way to try different fragrances at your own pace at home.
This year they have few different scent discovery sets for the L’Art and La Matiere fragrance line. I bought one a few years ago and loved it. I ended up handing out the set to friends to try out. Guerlain perfumes are among the best in terms of quality and longevity with a unique combination of options.

They released their Perfumer’s Set in two variants: the Virtual Harmony and Floral Harmony ($380 each). Many of you have asked for floral fragrance recommendations and the Floral Harmony set is a beautiful choice to try and find your perfect floral. The set contains Neroli Outrenoir, Musc Outreblanc, Rose Cherie, Rose Barbare, Cruel Gardenia, Angelique Noire, Herbes Troublantes, Joyeuse Tuberuse. I’ve already found 2 that I have on my wish list for my next prank. I have tried Musc Outreblanc a few times and love it for the soft and clean skin, like the musky scent that has long lasting power. Neroli Outrenoir is also beautiful.
If you like a more varied range of notes, the Virtual Harmony it is an excellent choice. It has Spiritueuse Double Vanille (one of the best vanillas I’ve tasted) along with some of their other classics. It also has that Musc Outreblanc that I love.
Theirs Hive of Wonders Advent Calendar ($720) is one of the most beautiful advent calendars out there. It has a mix of perfumes, mini candles, soaps, skin care and a few other things. All packed in a super stylish beehive. If you’re looking for the ULTIMATE gift of extravagance for the beauty lover, I can’t think of anything more luxurious than one of these advent calendar gifts.
Scent and fragrance options
The L’Art and La Matiere the collection is absolutely beautiful. In my years of trying perfumes, I feel that there are few fragrance lines that feel as luxurious as Guerlain’s. When you smell the line you can really tell the difference in the quality of the ingredients and the lasting power is very VERY good.
I was really curious about it Les Matieres Confidentialelles Eau de Toilettes line and my first experience is Eau de Coton ($180). It is a fresh velvety citrus powder. There is a hint of soft musk. I think it will make a nice perfume. On its own it smells like fresh cotton with a soft and airy feel. Notes include orange blossom, almond, musk.
Guerlain also has a full line of candles and diffusers. I know buying perfume blind can be difficult, but the Figue Azur Scented Diffuser ($130) is the finest fig fragrance I have ever smelled. It’s sweet, fresh and green in a bright way. The throw in this diffuser is very strong. This one is very charming, but if you’re looking for a diffuser that will fill the entire room and one that looks pretty, this is something I think you’ll really like. I have my eye on one of the candles to try, Palais D’Orangers the Azure figure both sound nice. (The candles are refillable.)
