How To Maintain Weight Loss Results

Can you believe it? The 6 week Summer Shape Up challenge is over, but girlfriend – YOU’RE JUST BEGINNING. Whether you’re trying to maintain your weight loss or keep pushing yourself harder, this is the way to do it this fall.

Finding your balance

Maintaining your results doesn’t mean sticking strictly to the same routine forever. It’s about finding the right balance between sticking to the foundational habits you’ve built up during the challenge and being flexible enough to make adjustments that make sense for your lifestyle.

Plan your workouts

It doesn’t have to be the same time every day, but schedule your MOVE workouts into your week ahead of time to make sure they’re a non-negotiable part of your routine. If you need to change it, that’s fine, but schedule it in the moment. Don’t wait to “figure it out later”. It is very easy to let this time slip if it is not planned.

Mix it up… THE RIGHT WAY

Progress comes from repetition, but that doesn’t mean doing the exact same workout day after day. The programs at MOVE are designed to give you the best balance of training styles while still providing flexibility. Try the new videos, take your workout outside, join Katie’s live workouts, or buy a new class with a friend on your cardio days. Keeping it fresh can help you stay inspired and prevent boredom from setting in.

Live Innocent

While it’s great to indulge occasionally, it’s just as important to maintain a balanced diet if you want to maintain your weight loss progress. The Warm Body Meal Plan is incredible for helping you set the foundation and is what I always go back to when I want to reset, but the Innocents Recipe Book will give you so many tools to help you find a healthy daily balance. Keep the fire burning

A positive mindset is the driving force behind sustaining long-term results. Keep celebrating your accomplishments, big and small, and remind yourself of the incredible progress you’ve made. Finding a support system is vital to maintaining your results. Connect with people who share your goals and encourage each other along the way. Fall in love with the process

This is a journey. You have to learn to embrace the process, embrace the changes, and embrace the incredible woman you are becoming.

Remember, maintaining your results is all about finding balance, being adaptable and enjoying the journey every step of the way.

Consistency is key. Keep showing up for yourself, set new goals and find new ways to challenge your body and mind. Embrace the mindset that this is a life journey and every step forward counts.
