How We Went From ‘Black Love’ As A Brand To Social Media Revealing Posts, Cheating Scandals
and alleged domestic violence? I am just as confused as all of you.

In 2008, New York rappers Remy Ma and Papoose were engaged and newly in love. You can
Meet them both from VH1’s Hit Show “Love and Hip Hop” where they highlighted the
relationship, music and challenges faced by Remy Ma after her release from prison after
shooting her ex-girlfriend.

Recovering from a six-year prison sentence is not only difficult in general, but it was tough on Remy
Ma and Papoose’s relationship. Love and Hiphop highlighted Remy Ma’s fight to stay
away from a bad lifestyle that led to her previous prison sentence in the past and how
Papoose wanted another child. On Love and Hip Hop, Papoose discussed its importance
Black Love, and made it his trademark. You can see him wearing the words Black Love on a lot
pieces of his clothes on video.

Now in 2024, the tune sounds a little different. Earlier this week the public woke up
Remy Ma AND Papoose make various posts on Social Media about their relationship and
dating other people even though they are still legally married.
According to Entertainment Channel RRG, Remy Ma is running a Battle Rapper from
the name of East The Block Captain. They allegedly had a romantic relationship,
while Remy Ma is still married to Papoose. That’s why on the social media platform

On Instagram, Remy Ma says she is “a female friend, the same way I was a husband
woman.”

Once the couple started going back and forth on Social Media with various posts, the conversation
it started to get very hot. It was also reported that Papoose is currently dating Professional
Boxer Clarissa Shields. Shields got involved in the Romance War by posting a video of herself
lyrics rapping rapper Remy Ma.

All of this is very heartbreaking to see and hear because their brand is Black Love. In 2016
the couple did an interview with BET Networks where they discussed how they met and theirs
relationship. During this interview they both had smiles from ear to ear. They both sounded like that
passionate about each other. Remy Ma said when she first met Papoose” she would never say a
derogatory word against women,” he went on to say “it was already showing me that he put
women on that pedestal and had great respect for women.”

Papoose and Remy Ma first met in the studio while recording a song together titled “Bonnie
and Clyde,” he said in a 2016 BET Networks interview. So hopefully only time will tell, this for
their family and their long history together that they can reconcile peacefully. Until then,
don’t let this situation fool you. Black Love is still alive and well.
