Is The Owala Water Bottle The New Stanley Cup? I

Okay, I’ll admit it, I was a plastic water bottle user for far too long. Then I used small S’well and Hydro Flask water bottles for a while, which I was horrible at constantly drinking from the moment I left the house. Honestly, I missed the huge one Stanley Quencher TikTok wave…as in, I didn’t uploadnot that I didn’t realize that the Stanley girls were all my food and that the “Stanley Cup” was won 312 million views.

And just last Christmas they gave me a cute one green and pink Owala water bottle that I even learned about the brand (or its viral status on TikTok). Walla was was founded in 2021 to create not only a delightful ‘water bottle designed to be your sidekick, not your sherpa’, but also to prevent chronic dehydration while scoffing at the idea that everyone needs a bottle suitable for climbing Everest (cough, cough Yeti).

The small but mighty selection of water bottles went quickly gained traction on TikTok for its elegant designs and fun, ever-changing color combinations. Owala bottles are also sold Amazon and to Target in various styles, sizes and color combinations (including older limited editions Color drops). And since I learned that my Neo Sage 24oz FreeSip Bottle it would become the new It bottle and sell out fast at both Amazon and Target, I appreciate it even more.

So, where is it? Bestseller FreeSip come out on the Owala vs. Stanley debate? I’ve been (really) drinking from my Owala bottle every day since January 1st to find out, and I’m here to share if it finally turned me into a reusable water bottle drinker, if it helped increase my daily water intake. and whether it is really practical. Read on for my thoughts!
