It’s starting to feel like the holiday season is here! Especially as the weather has changed. We just hit it off our Christmas tree last night and we will decorate it soon! With cooler drier temperatures my skin definitely needs some adjustments to my routine. This is the first year that I feel like my skin was super sensitive and dry. Here are some things I’ve been loving lately. I’ve shared some of them on Instagram, but since there are quite a few of you who aren’t on social media, I didn’t want you to miss them, so I’m sharing them here as well.
I feel like my body has experienced the most changes with the dry weather. Andrew felt it too so we used Shower Oils again. Right now we love it L’occitane almond shower oil. I just found out it has a value size and ordered it right away. We used the standard option and went through it so quickly and I love that the value size also has a pump.
We also used it and really liked it Shea butter version but the formula isn’t the same and I’m actually not a big fan of the scent. I also think some of the Shea line has been reformulated and just isn’t quite the same as it used to be.
I also recently tried a new range called Cyklar and I’m obsessed. As a citrus lover, I am in love with citrus Bergamot Bond and Naked Neroli Sensorial Body Washes. I received a press pack with a few things and put one in my bathroom, the other in Andrew’s. We both love the gel infused formula as it doesn’t dry out the skin and they smell AMAZING. The line seems like it’s new and just getting started, but I hope they expand into perfumes or home scents.
Osea was another line I loved for body care. I’m obsessed with it Undaria Algae Body Oil and Body Lotion. These are quite a few phenomena, but they have quite a few good value sets. I finally bought the full sizes in this one Undaria Body Bestsellers Duo after going through many minis. I also love the travel sizes, they are perfect for traveling or in your purse. THE Bestsellers Body care set he went with me on my travels in October. I love the thick oil for extra hydration and the lotion absorbs well into the skin.
I have started using a new LED light mask and it is INCREDIBLE. I have been a fan of LED treatments for a while now and the LED Mask Foreo FAQ 202 it’s the most comfortable lightweight LED mask I’ve ever tried. I teamed up with them to share a look at how I use it (see it in action and my favorite treatment here). I love that it’s wire-free and curved to fit the shape of your face. It has 8 wavelengths and you can adjust the intensity, choose your own light therapy or use the pre-programmed treatments through their app. I use this consistently 3-4 times a week and after a recent breakout, I can’t tell you how much I love this mask. It has changed the game and really worked to calm it down with the cyan LED, blue LED and yellow LED. It’s very strange, but they gave me a promo code to use for the Foreo website, use code SABRINAS10 to save an additional 10% off all items.
They have some great ones Black Friday deals and packages is currently ongoing. Code also works on sale items (discount will appear at checkout). I’m thinking of one of the hair LEDs. My hairstylist said one of her clients outgrew the big ones that go all the way to the top of her head and it really worked for her. I might try one of the smaller ones as Foreo has two that look really interesting.
Hair and scalp also need some changes for me, but luckily I don’t have to completely overhaul my routine. I started using it Kerastase Nutritive line again. It’s great for dry hair but doesn’t weigh it down. I love it Split Ends Serum and Moisturizing serum for the scalp. I’ve tried almost all Kerastase scalp treatments and there are so many great ones, but I’m really loving Nutritive at the moment. They’re having a friends and family sale with 20% off sitewide with code FRIENDS24 (sets excluded). They will probably have a few more deals for Black Friday and Cyber Week as well.
For fragrances I love all the discovery sets for the holiday season. I’ll have a few gatherings soon (plus some giveaways). Guerlain makes some of the finest perfumes, but finding a nearby counter isn’t always easy. I love their discovery sets and they have their classic 8-Piece L’Art and La Matiere Perfumer’s Set in Virtual Harmony and Floral Harmony. They also added two new variations with a Iconic Eaux de Parfum 3 piece set and Les Extraits 6 Piece Signature Set. More on these soon, but I wanted to put them on your radar.
I’ve bought a few full size Guerlain perfumes over the past year, but I never realized you could customize and personalize the bottles! The Guerlain team donated one Musc Outreblanc bottle with my name engraved on the back and custom plated cap + ribbon/lanyard seal. As someone who has almost never been able to find my name available on any personalized item, anytime I have “Sabrina” on something is pretty special. The second I opened the bottle I gasped. It’s something I will appreciate!
I’ve been down a perfume rabbit hole and another range I’ve recently started exploring is The Harmonist. I’ve tried two perfumes so far (more on them soon) and I’m in love Moon Glory which is a beautiful honey scent. I can’t wait to try more.
For skincare I rely on my usual products but I can’t praise her enough La Mer Revitalizing Night Cream. I know it’s very weird, but I keep it on my nightstand to apply at night and I love it. It really made a huge difference and I’m one of those people who really doesn’t like wearing anything on my face at night. This has the perfect consistency for hydration without making me feel like a ball of grease. Currently sold out at Sephora but in stock at Nordstrom.
A little makeup love. Actually, I have several recent favorites, but a couple call out. I’m so happy to hear that so many of you have loved the new one too Tom Ford Lip Color Reformation and found some new loves. My favorite lip last week was the Lip color in Spanish pink in conjunction with Lip pencil in 101 Close-up (both revised + samples here).
The eyeshadow palette that gets me the most compliments is this one Urban Decay Moondust Quad. It is still available at Kohl’s x Sephora if you’ve considered it, I recommend you act quickly. (More gift ideas under $50 from Kohl’s here). I’m still thinking about what’s exclusive Ulta Beauty very.
That wraps up a few things I’ve been loving lately! I’ll be sharing some gift guides soon, but I just wanted to mention this quickly Holiday Bistro Monogram Mugs it’s back. I think they are so cute and make a great gift under $15. THE red and green letters they are so festive for the holidays. I have it too typical black tiles. I ordered the festive ones last year for several friends. Andrew loves his.
Stay tuned for some holiday gift guides, some holiday makeup collection reviews, and some fun giveaways!
