Rounding my favorites since May today. I usually focus on favorite makeup, but so many of you have asked for more skin care and beloved hair care, so today’s position is all about hair, body and skin.
My hair and skin have gone through some changes since November with an extensive dry season this last winter/spring. We also had some major changes in life with our recent movement and while both the Gulf of Tampa and the Miami beach are so sunny and warm, Miami is significantly warmer and I think excessive heat has dehydrated my skin.
I have changed things about skin and hair. Here’s what I’ve loved.
Skin care loves
My two top cleaners are still the Chanel L’Huile Memory Cleaning Oil and the Kiehl’s extremely. I tried several other brands, but these are the best for the effective removal of sunscreen + makeup without stripping the skin. I really like the new Cleaning cleaning with Ultra Facial Hydrating of Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Too much (just as good as the original but more moisturizing). Tower Kiehl’s It offers a 25% discount for friends and their family sale (members get 30% off). Andrew uses both Kiehl’s cleaners.
Of all the new moisturizers I tried, the Project Innbeauty align Surf It was the best for me. The products I tried are richer and more moisturizing than I usually use, but I really like they were not heavy and they feel so good on the skin. I started with travel sizes (I also love This value trial set here). We ended up his travel sizes Extreme cream but bought full sizes of Extreme eye cream and the Elastic skin skin serum.
The serum has a very nice light texture and absorbs very well on the skin. I like to lay down all three together and happily mention that they do not irritate or clog my resources. 10/10 we recommend.
I have also experienced texture issues and clogged resources are mainly due to lack of exfoliation. I had an amazing person in one of the local skin clinics here at Miami Beach (including waterfall, radiofrequency, LED treatment and some other things). They really helped give my skin a kickstart to clean it. To exfoliate, two things I have found to be players from U Beauty and Dr. Dennis Gross.
I began to use the Dr. Dennis Gross Alpha Beta Universal Daily Peel Pads Again and there was a game change player. I also love the PEEL PADS/Resurfacing options from First aid beauty and Erythrocyte But I needed something stronger than Dr. Dennis Gross are perfect. I use them 2-3x a week in the evenings. Also have other options in Very soft or Extra force And they also come to smaller test sizes in case you are new to them and you are not sure what kind of try.
A number of you recommended the U beauty joined union And finally I decided to try it – it’s also a gameChanger. I bought a mini set And 100% will buy the full size. Resurfacing is a serum with vitamin C, retinol, multiple hydroxy acid, vitamin E and antioxidants. I am really impressed by how it improves texture. Since I do not want to overdo the acids (especially with peel pillows) I only use this 2x a week as serum under moisturizing cream.
Another voice for the Bliss Clear Genius Acne Spot Treatment Because this is a Holy Grail material. They are hands under the best acne treatment with 2% salicylic acid. I can apply it to points (and re-submit 2-3x all day to larger pimples) and helps reduce inflammation and really target acne. Andrew also swears.
Sun Care Loves
I have been trying almost every new sunscreen that has been possible since moving to Miami. The sun is much stronger here and since we are every day with Ollie’s walks, we are more diligent with sunscreen.
I really love the Chanel uv essentiel Because of the texture. It is not too thick or heavy and wears well under makeup.
For a mineral choice I like one of Tail and colored one of Isdin. You must be more diligent with double cleaning if you use a mineral as they tend to adhere more to the skin.
I am a long -standing dedicated Shiseido Ultimate Sun Protector SPF 60 but decided to give the new Ultimate Sun Protector Lotion Mineral Issue a test. I really like it! It has a very small white cast, but when you combine it, you can’t really see it. It has better drought, while the other version is a little softer. I have used the mineral version in my body all month. It takes extra work to remove. The best combo to remove the sunscreen of the mineral includes the Gloves of Shower Ecotools and Jack Black Turbo Wash.
Body care
All of me Favorite body oil from Chanel It’s back! I am so excited to have restored it. Chanel body oils are quite a figure, but packaged in a beautiful glass bottle and are the most luxurious on the skin. Love that now have a small stopper on top to check how much oil comes out. THE Chanel Huile Douce It is a lighter body oil and smells so fresh and clean. I like how they are not sticky and makes the skin soft as opposed to any other oil I have tried.
For hand care my favorite skin oils are the Chanel L’Huile Camelia and Hermes nouring oil. Both are spent, but I have repurchased both and I think it’s 100% worth it.
I mentioned a little behind with some challenges that found a deodorant that didn’t put on my skin. I had a large flame of the skin from the errors spray last year that resulted in hives. It took about 3 months to recover completely. Since then, my skin has experienced deodorant sensitivities, even those I have been using for years (such as natural, salt and stone, l’chcitane). Up to here Salt and Flor The types were the only ones I can use without irritation. I get for the Salt Another, like Santal fragrance, does not interfere with my aromas as well as a vanilla choice.
Back on the subject of exfoliation, while I will not use a natural rubbing on my face, I can definitely use it in the body. We started using the First Aid Beauty KP Bump Eraser And we love it. It has been clarified all the Breakouts of Andrew’s body and I like to use it on my feet. I have just ordered kp options from Salt and Natural To try too. It will keep you posted!
He also really loved Osea Malibu. I also started using this line with mini He was a while ago and fell in love. I just restored all my favorites, including travel sizes. I love it Body Oil Undaria Algae; Lotion and Body. 10/10 suggest you try one of their own travel kit If you are young on the line.
Hair Care
Last I have some love for hair for the month. My hair feels dry at the edges, so I changed things. My favorite line was the Shu uemura art of hair urban humidity deep hydration shampoo; Softener and Mask. I really liked this line I redeemed everything after using it. It’s a great moisturizing line that doesn’t weigh my hair and I like the way it smells.
After I was still experiencing dry edges, I began to use the Cherry nutrient 8th magical night serum again. I had forgotten this and I can’t run it enough! If your hair does not seem to improve with air conditioners, masks or oils, I highly recommend trying this serum. You apply it at night and I can’t tell you how big the difference is.
THE R & Co Dart Stick It takes another voice out. This is something I can’t live without for my Flyaways on the roots. I have still come back and my thick hair will not be left with hair spray. This is the best choice I have found to keep them in place. Although it will not make your hair super fat, if you sweat, you will find that you have to rinse it at the end of the day.
I love a good size brush, but most of them end up breaking in my bag. I love it Mini brush ghd For a hard one that will not bend easily in your bag. Rituel hair by sisley brush comes in a mini Pocket brush size And I like it. I wish I had a mini -affair to protect it better, but it is still very durable and durable. I love they are mini but still big enough to be effective.
This wraps my favorites! If you had some loves let me know! I always like to read about the things you discovered and fell in love.
