Q&A:
What inspired you to pursue a career in the beauty industry?
I’m technically a shop kid and grew up around or in a salon/shop since I was 5-6 years old.
Can you share a memorable moment from your early days in the industry?
I remember it without social media playing a big part/role in it and there was a real mission for people to show who is the best.
How do you define your brand in the beauty space?
I define my brand in the beauty industry as high quality men’s services and luxury solutions.
What does being a part of the Hype Hair Magazine x Bronner Bros collaboration mean to you?
For me, my presence in this collaboration means an opportunity, but also a future!
So many things change and have changed over the years and new changes are needed in the industry and we wanted to create a new narrative of where the industry is right now.
Where do you see yourself in your career five years from now?
In 5 years I want to be at a completely different level. With increased impact as I train people around the world. I would like to be a millionaire for sure. Also, I would like to develop more products.
Who are some of your biggest influences in the beauty industry?
One of my biggest influences in the beauty industry is James Bronner. He influences me in many ways, but I truly admire him for taking an idea and making it a reality that has been a staple in the industry for so many years/decades.

Some areas of expertise that set me apart are my expert services and the skin/hair care solutions I provide.
How vital is diversity and inclusion in the beauty industry and how do you contribute to it?
It is extremely important to leverage new innovations as well as solve problems across the industry. One way of thinking will only have one kind of result. We need a lot of perspectives and input to change the way we do business and impact the world through this industry.
Can you share some tips for aspiring beauty professionals looking to make their mark?
Some advice I would give to aspiring beauty professionals would be to be intentional, aggressive, invest in yourself and your business. Learn more than hair, learn how to be a legitimate business owner. Be a servant of the people and they will take great care of you!
What role does innovation play in your approach to beauty and hair care?
Innovation is necessary and inevitable when you think about pushing a billion dollar industry to the next level. New services, new products, new technologies and new techniques are all needed to grow.
How do you balance staying true to your style while keeping up with industry trends?
I focus on what interests me and not what the latest trends are, and if I see something in the trends that I can apply to my everyday life, I do. Other than that, I stay in my own lane and drive fast!
What challenges have you faced in your career and how have they shaped your journey?
Grooming men is a bit more taboo, but luckily in a place like Atlanta, men are more open to additional services and getting more than just a haircut. It has allowed me to grow into new areas that I could never have imagined as I entered the barbering side of the industry. It changed my perspective and honestly my life.
What upcoming projects or collaborations can your fans and readers look forward to?
My fans and readers can expect many upcoming projects for my brand, including new product launches, new services/treatments, new locations, rebranding and collaborations.
What’s your favorite beauty hack or product you can’t live without?
My favorite beauty hack to date is using Rose Water which is a game changer, it honestly has so many benefits and helps with so many different hair and skin needs. Also my Yizsential Organic Blend. It’s a game changer. Finally the Beard Food beard oil from Beard Goalz.
How do you stay motivated and inspired in an ever-evolving industry like beauty?
I stay motivated in this area because I think it’s a game for me, and as I learn more about the game, it keeps me invested and interested. Not so much on the service side, but behind the scenes and how the industry really moves and evolves. That’s where the next level of influence lies in my opinion.
