I’m taking a look at some new Dior Beauty products today that I’ve been loving! Dior has launched new liquid highlighters and skin boosters called the Forever Glow Star Filter ($55 each) & Glow Maximizer ($45 each). They also added some new shades of it Addict Lip Maximizer ($40) which I have a closer look at today.
Dior Forever Glow Star filter
Dior added a multipurpose complexion enhancer called the Forever Glow Star Filter. These are similar in concept to Liquid elf Halo Glow filter and Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Flawless Filter – you can wear them on bare skin as a primer, mixed with foundation or applied over foundation as a subtle highlight. There are 10 shades available in the Dior range. I’m usually a 2.5 or 3 in their foundation, so I ordered Shade 2 and Shade 3 in the Forever Glow Star potion.
Both have a very smooth sheen to them. The shimmer particles are very fine so I can wear it all over my face without looking like a disco ball. I will say that the degree of glow on your skin will depend on the color you choose. Shade 2 is lighter than my skin tone and the brightness/contrast makes it look brighter on my skin, while Shade 3 is a better match and has a more subtle glow effect as it’s closer to my skin tone.
The formula is on the medium thin side so it doesn’t feel heavy and sets and sets beautifully. I wouldn’t say it has a matte finish but at the same time it’s not super emollient. It’s somewhere in the middle – I think it’s perfect.

Overall I love the look, feel and lasting power of Dior. The undertones, texture and shimmers are different from others on the market, but there are enough similarities, I don’t think you need all three. I really like that Dior comes with a pump vs sponge application. Seems healthier to me. Dior has fragrance, but it’s low on the ingredient list and I don’t really notice it. If I had to choose 1 of the 3, I feel like I would be more inclined to choose the Liquid elf Halo Glow filter. The shimmer is the most natural looking making it easy to wear all over the face without accentuating fine lines or texture even on my bad skin days. Forever Glow Maximizer
Dior also added six shades of a more intense liquid highlighter called the Forever Glow Maximizer. I got three and I love them! These are very shimmery with a good amount of pigment. They are easier to blend than the Rare Beauty Liquid Luminizers, but I would say the pigment level is very close.
Gold is quite a warm gold glow. Peachy is a light peach champagne. Rosy is a darker rose pink that works as a blush for my skin tone. I did find the shades I chose different from the others in my highlighter stash, but there are some that are close enough – close enough to be similar on the skin.

New Dior Addict Lip Maximizers
Dior added some new shades of it Addict Lip Maximizers which seems to be exclusive to Dior.com and I ordered 2 of them. Frosted Pink is a beautiful cool-toned pink shimmer. It’s better than Shimmer Candy (review here) since the shimmer in Frosted Pink is more refined than the straight up frost.
Shimmery Spice is a beautiful peachy bronze shimmer with a little hint of rose, pink and gold mixed in. I like. I love them both very much. Both on the lips in action here.

This concludes the review of Dior Beauty new! I really love everything I carried. I don’t know that I would call the color highlights must haves since there are so many dupes on the market, but I really like the finish, the colors and the undertones.
I think the new glosses are a must. I think the colors are very beautiful.
