There are new ones No. 1 de Chanel launches this spring with three new shades Rejuvenating balms for lips and cheeks ($48 each), a Revitalizing Nourishing Duo ($170) and Revitalizing mask ($100). Available at Chanel and Ulta Beauty.
Rejuvenating balms for lips and cheeks
Chanel added three new shades of it Rejuvenating balms for lips and cheeks in 07 Vibrant Coral, 08 Ardent Brick and 09 Purple Energy. All three are brighter bold shades that are really beautiful for spring through summer. These have a cool sweet texture without dryness (they stay cool). Since they are balms, they are a bit sticky. I really like these on the lips. Because they are so soft, they stick well and stay in place. It’s colder and drier than usual this time of year here in Florida, which means I can wear a lot of things I normally can’t. I really liked the stuff for dry or normal to dry skin and I think the No 1 de Chanel range is the best for that skin type.

Revitalizing Nourishing Duo
There is a cute one Refreshing Travel Duo with minis of Chanel’s No 1 Revitalizing Serum and Crème Riche. I tried them on some mini GWP samples when the line first came out and found the formulas too rich for my skin type. Both have a beautiful texture and feel, but have a strong aroma. I tried them again for a review and while the scent doesn’t irritate my skin, I found both a bit too heavy. My skin was dry but I still think both are better suited for really dry skin. They come in a little travel case which is really cute.
Revitalizing mask
We last got a look at their new No. 1 Revitalizing Mask by Chanel which I think is beautiful. It has a soft jelly texture. It’s a rinse off formula, you apply it to clean skin for 5 minutes and rinse off. It really leaves baby’s skin soft and luxuriously smooth. It is also refillable and you can buy the refills separately. Two concerns with this formula are fragrance and alcohol high on the ingredient list. I was lucky it didn’t irritate my skin either, but I wanted to put this on your radar in case you have skin sensitivities.
Overall I love the look of the new Lip and Cheek Balms. I’ll be enjoying these on both lips and cheeks right now. When the heat comes back to Florida though I suspect they’ll be too heavy and cool to wear on my cheeks in humid weather, but I’ll still be able to use them on the lips. Treatment additions are nice, but not for my skin type.
