It’s time for another round turn! I have explored more perfumes this year and I am excited to have found so many new loves. Today I focus mainly on the news I love now, but I will also mention a few losses.
Maison Francis Kurkdjian Kurky
Maison Francis Kurkdjian Kurky (245 $, Garlic) It’s my favorite flame this year! It is a creamy fruity gourds that are not very sweet. It has a beautiful blend of calf and vanilla for a glittering fun. The power is on the softer side, so I have to push very liberating. I haven’t explored much of the MFK over the years, but after a recent visit to a local boutique recently I was really surprised to find that most of what I tried in the store do not have a long lasting power or throwing. Have you experienced that too?
Notes: Abyy Fruity Accord, Tutti-Frutti Notes, Musk, Vanilla.
New from Phlur
The new fog of the hair and body of Phlur are so fun for summer. Peach* ($ 25 – $ 38, Surf) is another amazing fruity juicy aroma with white freesia, jasmin, amber, coconut caramel, sandalwood mixed in. I didn’t realize that I liked peach aromas, but I really like it. After we tried it, I went to investigate another peach of Guerlain Peche Mirage And while it’s nice, it wasn’t pure love. I can check it again. Sometimes I need some attempts to really get a sense of how a fragrance will appear on my skin.
Peach skin notes: Top: Peach Bellini, Plum, Peach Skin, Bergamot
Heart: White Frezia, Vanilla Orchid, Nectar Jasmine
Base: sandalwood galaxy, pure amber, coconut candy
Coast* ($ 25 – $ 38, Surf) It is the perfect airy coconut aroma with bergamot and tiare flowers. I like this much more than coconut skin that is great, but the beach’s skin is more deep with a lighter summer feel.
Top notes: Bergamot, Salted Flower Tiare, Pink Pepper
Heart: Coconut Milk, Lily of the Valley
Base: sandalwood, vanilla, calf
I tried it Golden rule* And Rose* From Phlur and I think they are beautiful, notes are not just my atmosphere. I found the golden rule a little bit sweet and Rose Whip is a very velvety rose, which I never managed to pull in warm climates.
Chanel Chance Eau Splendide
Chanel Chance Eau Splendide* ($ 143 – $ 176, Wise) is the last addition to the Chance family and I think it’s the best yet. It is bright, fruity, sweet and youthful with raspberry, violet, rose and rose. The aroma also has a mixture of iris, cedar and calf powder to give it a little more depth. It is a flirty sweet kind of smell with a very bright and youthful feel. I was surprised how beautiful it is, as I usually don’t like raspberry aromas, but that’s really beautiful.
NOTES: Raspberry Accord, Rose, Violet, Rose Geranium, Minty Note, Iris, Cedar and White Musk.
New from Creed
I believe Eladaria* ($ 445, Garlic; Neiman Marcus; Creed) It is a fresh rose powder with peony. I like how this is transformed into the skin as soon as it defines. You can also detect notes of the lily of the valley with a little calf. It’s a very elaborate Rose complex but still fresh. For a floral, my heart still belongs to the flower of spring from Creed.
Eladaria Notes: Top: Mandarin, Bergamot, Pink Pepper
Medium Notes: Rose, Peony, Lily of the Valley, Powdery Notes
Base Notes: Musk, Vanilla, Ambroxan, Cashmere Wood
New from Celine
Celine un ete francais ($ 310 – $ 450, Candy) is the last addition to Celine’s fragrances and is summer in a bottle. It is a seaside floral with bergamot, Petitgrain, Neroli and has a little green feel to it. It’s fresh and the notes of dust are thin. For me it has a similar feeling to Frederic Malle’s carnal flower, even though they smell different – the floral notes are very strong and summer for me. Celine Un Ete Francais has a fresh green vibe on it. Shared a quick look at the Celine Boutique in Miami here.
Notes: Bergamot, Petitgrain, Neroli, Gorse and Vanilla Accords.
Byredo Absolus
Both new versions byredo Absolu in Mojave ghost and Silt They are beautiful. Both are very similar to the prototypes with a very delicate difference in the skin, but I find them significantly stronger with better power. These both have more depth and warmth that make them more interesting to me. If you already have and love the prototypes, I don’t think you need the news unless you repurchase, so I suggest you choose Absolu.
Blanche absolu ($ 280 – $ 385, Garlic) It has more warmth while the original blanche has a very crisp and sharp pure smell on it. The new Absolu is similar but not so sharp.
Blanche Absolu Notes Top: Aldehyde, Rose Centifolia
Heart: Paeonia, violet
Base: Mymph, sandalwood
Mojave ghost Absolu ($ 280 – $ 385, Garlic) It is also a little warmer and more creamy with a richer base. Lasting power is much better than the original, though I never had problems with Byredo constant power on my skin.
Mojave Ghost Absolu Notes Top: Ambrette, Jamaican Nesberry, Pear
Heart: Magnolia, Sandalwood, Violet
Base: Cedarwood, Chantilly Musk, Crisp Amber, VETEVER,
Guerlain Aqua Allegoria Hand Creams
If you are a fan of some of the Guerlain Aqua Allegoria fragrances that added some of the perfumes to super cute Aqua Allegoria Hand Creams ($ 60). The fragrances are not new, but I thought I would share a quick look because I was very curious. I have and I love the Guerlain Aqua Allegoria Forte in Mandarine Basilic ($ 185) which is a beautiful sweet citrus with royal and green tea. The hand cream is beautifully packaged with a smooth texture. Not as smooth as the Chanel la creme mainBut Guerlain has a nice light texture with minimal adhesion. The hand cream has a lighter aroma (as well as not as powerful as the aroma) and smells very light and fresh. Since I try it I don’t think I will name it it is worth it, but I will continue to use it until it is exhausted. I personally believe that the Chanel la creme main or Dior Le Baumes You have a better smooth texture for the hands.
In terms of a citrus aroma, I like Guerlain but still prefer the Chanel Les Eaux de Chanel Paris-Riviera or Paris.
Valaya exclusif
I liked the original Parfums de Marly Valaya But the new Valaya exclusif It’s even better. Valaya exclusif ($ 250 – $ 410, Garlic) is softer with a more velvety dust feel. Both are beautiful, but I like the new version, as the original almost smells sharp by comparison.
Valaya Exclusif Notes Top Notes: Velvety Almond, Bergamot, Mandarin
Middle notes: orange flowers, white flowers, dust faces
Base notes: Akigalawood, Sandalwood, Ambroxan, Vanilla
Young politic
Glossier you fleur ($ 32- $ 78, Surf) is a skin floral with a mineral salt agreement. This is the first osmanthus fragrance that I really liked and has a mix of ylang-ylang and apricot. It is thin and smells like your skin with a thin calf + floral vibe. It has a similar feeling to shiny, but the fleur someone pulls more skin and more natural smell. If you want something powerful and strong, this will probably be very light to you.
