We are only a few days into 2025 and the announcements continue. Not only did we get one pregnancy announcement, but two on the first day of 2025. Let’s break this down!
After scrolling through social media, Hip Hop Artist Coi Leray’s post kept popping up. The 27-year-old New Jersey native blessed our screens with a pregnancy announcement. Fans were shocked to hear the news, but even more shocked to see Leray reconcile with her ex-boyfriend, music artist Trippie Redd.
Redd and Leray have been in a relationship for years, so seeing them back together starting a family was news we weren’t prepared for on the first day of the New Year. After continuing to scroll through social media, another pregnancy announcement surfaced.
The Hip Hop Artist and Reality TV Dream Star doll shocked her audience with not only a pregnancy announcement, but a beautiful video that truly captured her joy and excitement about motherhood. The difference with Dream Doll is that she didn’t include the father of her child like Leray.
So fans began to speculate and become FBI detectives to find out who the father of the Dream Dolls’ child is. Dream Doll has not revealed who the father of her child is and viewers should respect her privacy, but when it comes to celebrities, people tend to want to know every detail.
In recent months more and more Young Black Stars have been announcing their debuts in motherhood. Skai Jackson who is a popular black actress best known for her role in Disney Channel shows like “Jessie” and “Bunk’d”. Viewers had mixed feelings about Jackson’s pregnancy announcement. Jackson’s pregnancy was revealed through photographers who followed her and noticed her visible baby bump.
Jackson’s Child’s father is later revealed to be a Content Creator named “Yurkky Yurkky”. There was a lot of controversy surrounding this announcement because viewers didn’t feel that Yurkky Yurkky was on par with Skai Jackson. Jackson is a beautiful actress with many achievements, while Yurkky Yurkky has many children with different women and has been imprisoned before. When viewers discovered Yurkky’s past and saw some disrespectful comments he made about Jackson and Cameron Boyce’s deceased friend, the sound of happiness over Jackson’s pregnancy turned to concern.
A child is a blessing regardless of the circumstance. Viewers will always have an opinion. As long as the mother is happy with her family and new bundle of joy, that should be the only thing that matters.
