Ole Henriksen Banana Bright Vitamin CC Stick Review & Swatches

I have recently met Ole Henriksen Banana Bright Vitamin CC Stick Correction and I was interested in giving them a move. It is a hybrid hybrid skin and I have a small side-by-side comparison in my skin tone two of the shades. Here’s what you need to know.

My review of Ole Henriksen Banana Bright Vitamin CC Stick

I just started trying them out and I have to say, I’m not absolutely sure what I think! So I wanted to share my thoughts so far and I will update when I used them the most.

I think my main issue is that it’s not what I expected to be like, which stopped me with my pieces for the review process. I’m not sure if that makes sense, but I’ll tell you what I think so far.

Type and texture

The first thing I noticed is the texture. It is creamy and warm with a smooth slide that feels like skin care. They are not sticky or heavy, and it climbs the skin really easily.

This is what I expected, where I was confused, as I expected there to have a more immediate opaque coverage. Once mixed, almost melts away in nothing. It is very a huge pigment that I found that it does not really provide coverage in itself.

If you are after a replacement of a one -stage correction and verterer, that’s not. But as a light layer that can make the concealer to apply smoother, it has potential. Under my Kulfi Concealer, the base felt nice hydrated. But since I already like how the concealer seems, I couldn’t say if it really reinforced the result.

Comparison of shadow in the tone of my skin

I tried both shades under my eyes to see which one works best for me. This is the previous photo:

I will be honest because they are clear enough, I’m not sure which is better for me. Probably Guava?

We tried it under my Kulfi Concealer (review and samples here) and while creating a nice hydrated base, I honestly couldn’t say if it made a big difference, mainly because I already like the concealer on his own.

By itself, the coverage of the Banana CC Henriksen Banana Banana stick is not enough to replace the concealer, but feels great on the skin and brings some fine benefits to skin care. I just hope to deliver a little more on the forehead of makeup.

If you are a fan of the original banana Bright Eye Crème and you want something in makeup format, it’s worth a try. You just know it’s clean, and for me, the real star of the show is still my concealer.
