Spa Treatments To Prepare For Summer

Everyone likes to look and feel their best when summer brings the heat (and the shorts and swimsuits). And since your clients will be looking for ways to get ready for everything from beach days to summer weddings, here are some treatments that can help them get ready to glow from face to toes — and pretty much everything in between .

The heat sometimes makes your bare skin necessary. While we’re all for covering up when the sun’s rays are shining, it’s usually more practical (and comfortable) to leave the layers on in the heat. This means showing off body parts that may have been covered up for months. Your clients may also have a long list of summer holidays for which they want a glamorous glow. Fortunately there is a long list of treatments that can help clients feel good in their skin.

Peeling

Exfoliating the skin on the body can work wonders as summer approaches, removing the dead skin cells that remain after a few cold, dry months to reveal fresher, smoother skin. A beneficial treatment in its own right, a body scrub is also a great addition before another treatment such as a body wrap.

The Tropical Escape Refining Body Protocol is ideal as we enter the summer months. Suitable for all skin types, it starts with Scrub with coconut sugar that removes dead skin and moisturizes with rich coconut oil. The Mango Enzyme Body Wrap is the next step. It gently exfoliates with active enzymes, alpha hydroxy acids and vitamins and leaves the skin renewed. A massage with apricot body oil helps the skin feel soft and supple. For normal to dry clients, a coat of Monoi Age Corrective Night Cream Body is the perfect way to finish off the treatment – or better yet, send them home with a retail-sized tube and they can prolong the results long after they leave the the spa.

Body wraps

Body wraps are a relaxing and rejuvenating treatment that can nourish and prepare your clients’ skin for summer. Whether they’re looking for hydration and moisture after a long winter, want to improve their skin’s texture, or hope to minimize the look of cellulite – or a combination of all of the above – there’s a treatment for them. Body wraps are also customized based on your clients needs. Some great options for summer include:

Mango Enzyme Body Wrap

For customers who want to hydrate and give the skin a smoother appearance, the Mango Enzyme Body Wrap is a fantastic option. Mango is rich in antioxidants and vitamin A, along with extensive moisturizing benefits. In addition, the combination of pineapple, lactic acid and glycolic acid gently exfoliates the skin all over. And since it’s summer, it’s a great time to reach for vitamin C, which helps to tone and renew skin’s appearance while brightening. This delicious mango-scented body wrap also contains a Biocomplex2™, an antioxidant booster that restores the appearance of elasticity and youth.

Chocolate Truffle Body Wrap

For a real treat, the Chocolate Truffle Body Wrap is a wonderfully aromatic option with many benefits. This wrap tightens and tones the look of chapped, wrinkled skin, making it an ideal choice for tackling the signs of summer’s overuse. In addition, cocoa is rich in antioxidants, while almond, jojoba and macadamia oils soften and moisturize.

Herbal Treatment of Cellulitis

According to Cleveland Clinic, 80–90% of all women past puberty have cellulite — the dimpled, dimpled skin that’s created by collections of fat pressing on connective tissue. Although there is nothing wrong with cellulite, many people try to minimize its appearance. Although there is no “cure” for cellulite, the appearance can be improved with a body wrap designed to target affected areas such as the thighs, buttocks, lower abdomen and arms. Herbal cellulite treatment can help skin look firmer and more supple with skin-safe paprika and nettle, skin-boosting ingredients. The formulation also contains bioflavonoids and honey that enrich the skin with moisture and help encourage the appearance of vitality and youth.

Hair removal

Whether your clients choose to wax, laser, or shave at home, there are a few steps that can make the process go faster smoothly this summer. Since one of the biggest concerns when it comes to hair removal is for ingrown hairs, we recommend a little TLC before any waxing, shaving or other waxing session begins.

A good body scrub or gentle exfoliation will help remove any dead skin that could be preventing the razor or wax from reaching some of the hairs, leaving them stuck beneath the surface and possibly causing ingrown hairs. inside. Body scrubs are great for gently removing dead skin. A salicylic acid or glycolic acid a few days before a waxing session is another option. These exfoliants encourage faster cell turnover and, in doing so, get rid of any dead skin cells that might otherwise stick around longer than you’d like. A swipe of Peel Clear Skin Willow Bark Exfoliator should do the trick. Since it’s ideal to exfoliate a day or two before waxing, it’s best to advise your clients to do it at home. Or if they’re at the spa for an exfoliation or peel, let them know they’re all set for a shave a day or two after the appointment.

After a hair removal treatment, soothe, hydrate and refresh the area with the Stone Crop Masque. Then apply Stone Crop Serum or Facial Repair Oil. And finally, don’t forget about hydration. Stone Crop Hydrating Gel or Echinacea Recovery Cream are good options. These steps are perfect for soothing skin irritation after a waxing session.
