We had a moment to speak exclusively to Tamron about the Up-and-Coming Stylist line:
OH: Did the inspiration come from the famous fashion outfit on the show?
TAMRON: Yes! He absolutely did. I have an uncle who calls me to say. “I’m just opening it to see what you’re wearing! Our fashion stylist will choose an outfit at random and show the audience how to style it three ways, courtesy of H&M. At the same time, giving the models a great makeover.

OH: What is the most rewarding moment to watch these talented stylists flaunt their gifts for the world to see?
TAMRON: Wow, the feeling is amazing! We are having so much fun, and I can feel the shivers of joy, gratitude, and happy tears. It’s so beautiful to witness such appreciation for stylists and their memorable presentations.
OH: Most importantly, individuals are not only talented stylists but heroes in their own community, like Nikki Vontanna. Can you tell us more about her?
TAMRON: Nikki is stunning, unforgettable and always infectious joy. She is a true inspiration, empowering other women dealing with Alopecia by providing support and creating a safe space to embrace their beauty. These discussions are long overdue as many women remain silent about Alopecia due to lack of awareness. Nikki’s act of customizing other women’s crowns as she does her own is truly impressive. Our crowns mean so much.
This Monday, the spotlight shined on Isaac Davidson and the Tatum Twins in the latest episode of Up-and-Coming Stylist. Isaac Davidson, a talented hairstylist based in New York City, is known for his expertise in hair extensions, wigs, and creating custom styles for the trag and queer community. He was joined by powerhouse duo Tamela Clarke and Miko Tatum, also known as the Tatum Twins, who are making waves in the beauty and fashion scene from Detroit, Michigan. The duo say passion is in their blood with stories of their grandma and grandpa having the same passion when it comes to dressing up in their ‘Sunday best’! This also empowered them to unleash their creativity.
Up-and-Coming Stylists airs weekdays on ABC 7 and can be watched on YouTube. Tamron’s Up-and-Coming Series is always looking for talented designers who design, sew and want to break into fashion.
