With all the forecasts, behind the stage drama and a glittering campaign, it is easy to forget what is the awards era: celebrating the magic of cinematic production and everything we love for screen narration. But now that the 2025 Oscars have * officially * wrapped – from the red carpet looks at the shocking end, what the show was – we’re so ready to look at some of the most anticipated films and television shows this year.
Many of the titles of March feel connected to the basic idea of cinematic love. Take Mickey 17A Sci-Fi comedy starring Robert Pattinson as a clone directed by the winner of Oscar Bong Joon Ho-a director whose passion comes in every context of his innovative ideas. There is also The studioThe comedy with a star of Seth Rogen, who overflows with fun with the Hollywood machine, but in a way that only people who also have a real love for what they do. And Shonda Rhimes-production The houseAn off-beat on the upper floor-downstairs murder-mystery that adds a modern sensitivity to one of the classic screen types.
Move to find out what we can’t wait to watch this March.
Mickey 17
Every two years, there is a long piece of thinking about whether an actor is the last true Hollywood movie star. Tom Cruise. Will Smith. The last entry came from the New York Times Last December in the form of a deep dive with Robert Pattinson, and honestly I first entered the title. One, because I have seen it before. And two, for so long I have associated Pattinson with early Twilight Days, and like him, it was difficult for me to get away from it. This officially ends with Bong Joon Ho’s Sci-Fi movie Mickey 17. Robert, I’m with you.
At a time when I, like many others, long for the originality of the movement, Mickey 17 sense fresh. The film follows Mickey (Pattinson), who leaves behind a declining land and signs to become a clone on a space journey for the sake of scientific research and exploration. But of course, something goes wrong. I will leave it to this because if you are a fan of Bong’s films, you know that there will be fun twists and turns to come and I would say Mickey 17 falls more according to Bong’s Snow shoe From his film that won an Oscar Parasite with the balance of the Campy characters and the emotion of fun. Being a clone, Pattinson bends his active steaks and proves why he deserves the title “Last Movie Star”. Pattinson’s participation is a powerful cast by Naomi Ackie, Steven Yeun, Mark Ruffalo and Toni Collette. Mickey 17 Maybe the farthest end, but honestly don’t mind me just because now I completely bought Rob-Nissance.

Black bag
Full slide: I have not examined Black bag However (this will be this week, so come back for my official download!), But the trailer and cast alone creates the Spy Thriller movie to be a good watch.
By director Steven Soderbergh, Black bag Following is the top intelligence agent George Woodhouse (Michael Fassbender), who is instructed to investigate his wife and colleague Kathryn (Cate Blanchett), suspected of betraying the country. Marriage is quite difficult already, but when you need to keep in secret at the level of national security from your important other, it is difficult to imagine how one can make it work. But obviously this couple may, at least in the beginning. “My dedication to my marriage is my professional weakness,” says Kathryn. For both spies, we will see if this is true.
The participation of Fassbender and Blanchett (who is also one of my actors of all time) is Regé-Jean Page, Marisa Abela, Naomie Harris, Tom Burke and Pierce Brosnan. For the long -term followers of Fassbender, Black bag will be another consolation prize in their 007 dreams for the actorAnd with a former James Bond signed the project, you can’t help, but think about what it could be.

WORK
I know the Sundance reviews It wasn’t the biggest but I personally liked WORK. Maybe it is because, as I have admitted without admitting before, I’m not * a girly horror and it doesn’t matter the lack of eye -related emotions. And probably because I am a journalist, many of these small small -scale work under an author who gets credit for my ideas really resonates.
In the A24 thriller’s thriller by former author GQ Mark Anthony Green, Ayo (Ayo Edebiri) is a young music journalist who, like many young journalists, dreams of dipping his teeth into more scattered stories. This break eventually happens when it is inexplicably invited to a remote union for an exclusive listening session hosted by Alfred Moretti (John Malkovich), a piece of Michael Music Music, which releases the 18th album of the studio after a decades. But the golden ticket for the biggest debut, as the Beatles touched our ground quickly erodes as it becomes clear to anyone except Ariel that something more threatening is hiding with Moretti and the community that looks like a worship he has built. The movie comes with Three original songs performed by MalkovichWho is always a thrill to watch on any screen. It is also nice to see Edebiri successfully translate the dry comic tradition for a thriller, proving why she is one of the top actors of her generation.
You must absolutely attend WORK In theaters? Up to you. But it’s definitely a steady choice for a weekend watch at home in a few months.

The house
We have Sherlock Holmes and Benoit Blanc. Now we have the Uzo Aduba Cordelia Cupp. Is the genius, peculiar and unexpected detective in the heart of New Shondaland whodunnit The house -And it belongs more to other big screen resolving crime.
Located in the White House, the series follows Cordelia as it is called upon to solve the murder of Chief Usher Ab Wynter (Breaking the evil‘S Giancarlo esposito). Unfortunately for all those involved, the crime occurred during a high state dinner, which means that Cordelia has 157 suspects wondering, while attracting for 132 rooms.
Aduba shines as Cordelia, carefully finding the balance between the humor and the air of Gravitas. But the show built around her is so fun, as well: funny, smart and agonizing like any good murder. There is an action that lives in each scene and is the perfect demonstration to watch when you want to relax or close the noise. Best of all, it’s easy to imagine a future with many more seasons of Cordelia Cupp’s resolution crimes.

The studio
As Canadian, I think everything is better with Catherine O’Hara. And while this constant belief proves to be true once again in The studioI also love almost everything else that happens in the comedy series. Co-created by frequent Evan Goldberg and Seth Rogen partners (who also stars), The studio It is a fancy, frenzied, laughing-out-power comedy that makes fun in Hollywood. The show focuses around Matt, the newly -appointed head of a cinematic studio after his mental launch (O’Hara). The problem? Matt is pretty much obsessed with films and also deals with the assurance that actors and directors like him, making his work even more difficult than he should be.
The show moves with a chaotic, whip-gross rhythm-so much to feel like you are in the thickness of the action of the film-and humor is often out of pocket in the way you know that some of these moments should be at least loosely inspired by their real life experiences. With a stacked cast (Kathryn Hahn, IKE Barinholtz and Chase Sui Wonders also have), Star-Studded Cameos (Think Charlize Theron and Martin Scorsese play themselves while interacting with Matt), elaborate sequences for ketored movies (such as fantasy vulgar zombie movie With Johnny Knoxville and Josh Hutcherson), The studio It will be eager to reach popcorn with every episode.
