Hosted by Ayo Thomas, Founder of Thrive CEO Woman, the Designed to Thrive Business Brunch was an incredible success, bringing together a powerhouse of female leaders, entrepreneurs and influencers for an unforgettable day of inspiration and connection. Held at the Embassy Suites Uptown Charlotte, NC, the sold-out event created a lively atmosphere where faith, wellness and business were at the forefront of every conversation.

Sponsored by Mielle Organics, the brunch welcomed attendees with elegant networking on the rooftop, setting the stage for powerful connections and meaningful conversations beneath the Queen City’s beautiful skyline.

The highlight of the day was the curated panel discussion, with dynamic speakers who shared invaluable insights on entrepreneurship, leadership and maintaining wellness in pursuit of success. Panel speakers included:

Peaches Kenney, LCSW, who emphasized the importance of mental health and self-care for business owners.
Roscio Gonzalez Executive Director of the Women’s Business Center of Charlotte, NC who spoke about the power of networking and building resilient business ecosystems.
Dr. Khaliah Olokunola, Tech CEO and Founder, who inspired audiences with her story of overcoming adversity and building a successful tech company.

Moderated by Candace Diaz, owner of Forever Diaz Salon and Spa, the panel discussion was both empowering and practical, giving attendees practical suggestions for their business journeys. Dr. Brandi Nicole, CEO of Hairclinic Rx, served as the event’s hostess, bringing energy and grace as she guided the day’s program.
