My review of Violette FR Bisou Jelly
I love an easy-to-use, glossy lip and this one really ticks all the boxes. It’s great! In terms of convenience, these are the products you can grab from your bag and swipe on without the need for a mirror, and it really doesn’t get any easier than that!
Also Violette FR Bisou Jelly is a great sturdy product. When you first look at them, they look like you might have to apply very gently in case the bullet breaks and you apply more than you need. However, the formula has a wonderful staying power and you can apply it boldly without fear of making a mess. It really holds its own.
Texture-wise, it feels nice and hydrating, so you could easily grab one of these if your regular lip balm. And because it’s a sheer and naturally flattering finish, it looks great even without any other makeup.
The shade selection is really beautiful. I love them all. All offer a soft hint of color that can be subtly intensified with Pomme d’Amour being the most ‘poppy’ shade.
They are all so wearable though, I think Aïssa is probably my favorite and I don’t think I’m alone as this is the shade that is sold out. If you like nude tone, Bonbon Caramel will be right up your alley. It’s like a great 90s nude and would look amazing with a lip liner if you wanted a more ‘made up’ look.
