I don’t know what it is, but I feel like my schedule is filling up every day. single. month. And while it’s all super fun (like traveling in Europe!), it’s definitely a challenge when it comes to food. You already know the fight. The quick and easy stuff is usually prepackaged, fully processed junk that’s full of sodium and sugars and other ingredients that our bodies simply don’t need.
And I know when you’re in a rush, it’s tempting to be like: no biggie! I will eat this meal very quickly and then make better food choices when I have more time. But, baby, I have to let you know what I learned. When I eat junk, I feel junk. Then my busy schedule leaves me overly stressed and frustrated. But when I eat right, I feel energized and excited about all the cool things I’m doing!
Eat right — even in a hurry
So here is my package. The secret to making good food choices even when I have a jam-packed schedule just comes down to some planning. That way, you don’t even have to I think so for my next meal. My fridge is stocked, I can whip up meals in minutes and I’m on my way, a super nutritious meal.
Let’s talk about real life examples. I start my day with one upgraded coffee. Yes, black coffee is the easiest and fastest. But taking sixty seconds seriously to add some other ingredients (shout out to the adaptogens!), my morning cup keeps me balanced and feeling exceptional.
For lunch I usually make something easy salad which I can seriously relate to. As long as my fridge is stocked (and you have to go to the grocery store anyway, busy or not!), it’s a breeze.
For dinner, grilling a turkey burger is an absolute snap. And to make sure I don’t get bored, I make some spicy LSF yogurt sauce to take the meal to the next level.
I see! Eating right can be just as fast as eating junk, but I feel about a million times better. And I don’t get in the way of my body’s goals. Remember, babies, abs are TOTALLY made in the kitchen!
