Hello friends! Happy Monday! How was the weekend? I hope you had a great time. We were in Phoenix with some friends and made our annual stay at the Scottsdale Fairmont Princess. For today’s post, I’m sharing my winter skincare routine!
The colder The wind outside (I live in Arizona after all!) and the dry indoor heat strips my skin of its natural moisture, leaving it prone to dryness during the winter months. So switching up my skincare routine this season is key to maintaining healthy, happy skin.
The first step is a gentle cleanser that washes away makeup and impurities without over-drying. Next, I incorporate my favorite vitamin C serum that’s packed with antioxidants and a moisturizer with ingredients like hyaluronic acid and ceramides that help lock in moisture and restore the skin barrier.
Additionally, a weekly exfoliation with a mild scrub or chemical exfoliant can remove dead skin cells, promoting a radiant glow. I rotate through my favorite masks, listed below.
Finally, applying a broad-spectrum sunscreen, even on cloudy days, ensures protection from harmful UV rays. This is my passion.
